just make sure to take good measurements of yourself and specify exactly how you want it to fit (if you like ironknochs' fit so much, just straight up link Charly to it)

also make sure to trust him and only modify something if you're 110% confident in what you're doing

Is it really outdated?

You can't even use it as a guide line?

why do you need a guideline for your own measurements
post #41073 of 42259

It's convenient to have a base of reference to determine how it would fit?

Most people don't really need MTM.

Personally, I used the size charts to make sure I wasn't going too far off the base pattern. Imo, you start asking to combine things from two sizes apart, that can cause a jacket to just look off. Just a personal preference.

i think the point of a guideline is so that if you are new to MTM, you are able to gauge whether the jacket measurements you are asking for do not stray too far from the general integrity of the jacket's design. i'd imagine, like what Dbear said, that if you start frankensteining measurements from different jacket sizes too much, it could start to look a bit wonky

edit: with that said, it's a bummer if the sizing chart is indeed outdated, but from what i gather, communication and willingness to listen to charly is king.

Not sure if you should be worried but last year when I went off to university and I changed my address, it still got delivered to my old address at home. Was lucky that my parents grabbed it and they just brought it up when they were visiting.

yeah but if your measurements seem totally off charly will definitely flag it. always good to provide height/weight along with measurements

This is even worse than the elongated wait time. I've changed address couple of time so this post makes me very anxious. Plus TOJ recently sent out jackets without tracking. You are lucky though. My old places are not parents's house like yours. Wrong address + no tracking = lost jacket.

I've changed my address on pretty much every one of my orders. Even gotten one shipped to Japan, y'all worry too much.

Drew,
If i rub an m3, will you appear and grant my wishes?

Please,I am literally dying here

Ok maybe not literally
How many people have died waiting for their jacket? Must be at least one, right?

You have to rub a dark green Ferrari, not a M3 and it has to be British racing green.
Even if you manage to rub that Ferrari, there's a current wait time of more than 52 weeks for your wish to be granted smile.gif

Would the lengths on the 2010dr be the same as the lengths on a BCDR and a 2013dr? or would they be different since it's supposed to be a cropped jacket?

I would assume they'd be the same, and the scallop accounts for the cropped look
