Haven't seen many suede MDRs on here, i'm thinking either this or a BCDR (still suede).

I much prefer the MDR in leather, but I think the BCDR looks amazing in suede.

For size 39 chest should I go with the 48 or 50 TOJ0? 5'11, 175 like the other dude

Depends on the fit you want. I'd go with 48 personally.

Yeah I like a slimmer fit and went with 48 but was just checking since ppl saying to get 50 for MA 1. I don't want it to look stupid small

I have a 36' chest and have a TOJ0 48 that fits fine

I think the MA-1 runs particularly small. It's also generally meant to be worn in a more relaxed fit

I don't wanna sound like a broken fucking record, but if you gave Charly accurate measurements and told him how you want the jacket to fit, it'll turn out perfect. Comparing body measurements might give you a slight idea but no two people are of the same shape and size (longer/shorter torso, arms, blah blah blah)

I'm 5'8, 150lbs ish and I went 48 with 46 lengths for my wool ma-1. Fits pretty perfect (IMO) cos I don't layer. Kept me plenty warm at 0 DegC with just a flannel. Comfortability is off the charts

Your body size changes all the time anyways.

the one behind the sewing machine for a midget?

It might as well be. Most people had to size up
