back off. he's given to this community, and you have no track record. we don't need any of that negative shit here. Charly, where are the fit pics now that you've finally gotten that DR?

Not worried, just don't want to transfer to lighter stuff. Was thinking about rinsing anyway.

yea, it'd probably help. just keep in mind you're going to lose that softness. my DR didn't feel as nice after some time in the rain. some pecard helped, but it wasn't the same.

Quick snap of the calf bomber, I ordered a while back.

looks good dude

materials like calf, horse, and even goat are at the soul of casual leather jackets. Lamb and suede are purely luxurious fashiony materials (not that I don't admire them). If anything, I think they should try to get more calf colors (if possible).

The calf is good. It's a bit like good denim. It will become better and better each day.

What did you get? I'm curious to know why the black dye is coming off and leather thickness varies.

Lamb. When I handle the jacket I end up with dye on my fingertips, almost like reading a newspaper. The leather is remarkably thick on the outside panel of the sleeve, while the underside feels almost half as thick in a pinch test. I realize it's animal skin and isn't perfect. Didn't expect perfect. I don't know, maybe I'm just a noob at this leather jacket game.

My bcdr is thin everywhere but especially the back of the arms/elbows. Different texture too.

LET'S DO THIS (i realize this shop is just terrible) i realize that you said something about not being able to do snake lapel, any possibility of a snake inset panel on the lapel like this: http://img337.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/u...yjeay82907.jpg would sure be nice ;__;

Interesting you chose minimalist DR as a base. I would've thought one of the more out-there models. Also wouldn't you want leather pulls on all the zips? I'm just trying to think like Uncontrol here.
