Bought it basically new and didn't realize how stiff the calf would be coming out of the box. Could barely move at all. The colour is crazy, and seems to constantly be changing under different lights. The leather is so smooth and incredible to look at. It's a damn shame I can't keep this thing as it seems to fit me pretty well too....

What is B & S and what is the price on that jacket?

B&S = secondhand from the marketplace on the forum.

That leather is no longer available, but something similar is $870.

They've been two weeks from announcing shutdown for about 4 months now.

I know I'm not alone in hoping they decide to keep running their business, however.

They were never planning on shutting down. Just a well-executed sales tactic. Kudos to them.

We're making the clothes as normal, but there were a lot of orders as you can tell. I think I explained that the relationship between lead time and order date was exponential and not linearly parallel. So yea. But we're just workin on the clothes in the day and the food at night. Hell of a lot of work.

OK well, I sent Charly one of those e-mails to switch something on my order. Navy calf here we come.

I did the same, changed a model and the shipping address for my two jackets on order. Easy as pie!

I thought so too, but I was able to change my moto to medium whiskey calf 2-3 weeks ago.

Can't imagine how cool this would look in lamb too, not sure if those are made anymore but someone should get one

I am in fact planning on a lamb minimalist double rider in whiskey. Charly said "bright whiskey" is available. Not sure what that'll be IRL. I figure if it's really too orange-ish, a thin coat or two of Obenauf's...?

A lot of people get riders too long. Riders are meant to be fairly short to make it easier for your to crouch down when you're riding your bike.

While I tend to agree with this, if you're going to crop the jacket a bit, it shouldn't be overly slim fitting. Otherwise it looks like you're wearing a kid's jacket. I personally think MrTony92's fit is ideal.

It depends on your proportions too. Guys with short torsos and long arms would look fucking stupid in cropped jackets.
