Someone also got it in a lighter blue

These are sick.  What do you mean by TOJ Heritage?

Appearance wise I can't decide which would really suit me more but the 4 zip moto has Drew's blessing and the A2 is historically brown.

Tough decisions.

Black lamb 4 zip, gold zips

I just meant they were what inspired the QDR, that's all.

Hey all. For the biceps flexed measurement I have 15" and Charly suggested 7.5" @ pit sleeve measurement. You guys think the lamb will stretch enough? I don't mind slim fitting I just have bigger arms from working out and just don't want it to be too tight. This is for an A2 and I don't plan on layering.

I would likely trust Charly's recommendations, he's a beast if you didn't know...and probably understands how to size for "bigger" chests, shoulders, arms...

I'm considering going in for a black MA-1 with silver zips and a suede BCDR, possibly sand tan.

I ordered a TOJ0 and a Med Grey T-1 in the beginning of August.  I'd love for them to get here to compare measurements, as I ordered both relatively slim.  I plan on layering under the MA-1 (probably just a hoodie or the occasional sweater), but I'm not sure if I have the grace period to wait that long.

Anyone have suggestions with regards to sizing up slightly for the full leathers?

You know, you could get some quality measurements for yourself (get a friend/gf/bf/what have you to do em multiple times) and then email Charly with your thoughts about wanting to layer under, and he'd account for that in sizing...

Plus if you're ordering them now, you have a nice long open window before you need measurements. Probably could wait until those jackets come in to send your measurements in anyways

Personal preference really. My one gripe with the way TOJ bombers and varsities are sized (the stock sized jackets and the MTM ones) is the slimness of the sleeves.

IMO, if you're looking at a measurement and hoping that the material will stretch to fit correctly, the measurement is too slim.

Nothing like getting packages and not knowing which jacket it is. 3 more to go icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

The sizing of the jacket is exactly what I wanted. I had told Charly I wanted to gain about 10 lbs. of lean muscle and have a jacket that fits good right now and eventually perfect. I think that's exactly what I got and layering is much more comfortable. With my Brown Lamb A-2 the jacket fits so dead on that even a dress shirt and driving with the jacket may be a bit stiff.

I find the jacket pretty versatile, I can wear it to work and also just a plain white tee and looks pretty awesome. I had hesitations before about this style of jacket and whether or not I can pull it off. I'm glad I didn't go any longer on the jacket than Charly suggested, I didn't want an extreme cropped look.

edit: I'm about 5'9 and currently 148 lbs. I plan to be around 160 lbs around.

This is reassuring. I had a similar convo with Charly re: plans for weight gain and went with his suggestions.

I don't wanna bother Charly with too many questions so I'll ask here. Is the quilted moto no longer available? I'm new to ToJ and I see some nice looking quilted motos in photos from 2012 but they aren't on the website.

I believe you can request it but Drew and Charly aren't a fan of it.

I don't wear this nearly as often as I'd like :o

damn that's great

Anybody order a DR late June get any tracking yet? Not that I'm worried, was wondering if everybody was on the same boat.

Yeah the wait time for everyone has been practically the same. 20 weeks or so if you didn't change anything you ordered midway through. (Think that pushes production time back a by a bit)

Getting close to ordering a minimalist double rider--perhaps toward the end of this month. On the one hand, I really like the idea of an all black makeup (black lamb + blacked out hardware). On the other hand, I wear a lot of dark wash jeans, dark brown boots, navy colours, etc. Makes me think grey, whiskey, or toffee tan lamb would suit that better. No pictures anywhere of a toffee tan lamb MDR? Saw a whiskey makeup--looks fantastic.
