length is good, wouldn't hurt for an extra inch in the sleeves. when did you order?
I would add .5-1" in the body and 1-1.5" in sleeves if you order another jacket, but it looks fine as is.

A dark brown goat MDR ordered in late June.
I think it should be longer by 1-2 inches and possibly longer sleeves? From this I'm going to base my 2010DR if I have the funds.
Opinions?

Zipped-up, the jacket seems to accentuate your long arms (compared to your torso).
While the body length looks great, you will also need to lengthen it to maintain the general proportions of the jacket ... otherwise, your cropped look will resemble a woman's jacket.

I ordered on the 27th of June.

Long arms? Never really thought that of myself however when I first took it out of the packaging I did think it looked a bit like a women's jacket. Less vital I guess because I usually wear my jackets open.

Something to rectify if/when I order another.

Got my brown lamb A2 (pics later)...it seems to fit based on the tiny reflective surface in my office smile.gif

The lamb feels nicer than a lot of the lamb on my black MDR (particularly the outside edges of the sleeves don't feel as good). I thought the black lamb was supposed to be better...did I get a bad batch on my MDR? There are some parts of the MDR where the leather feels significantly better than other areas.

got my brown lamb A2 yesterday also.  ordered june 12th.  shipping was ridiculously fast.  i got it one day after Sally emailed me the tracking info.

absolutely LOVE the jacket.  it's my first TOJ and i think the measurements are almost spot on.  maybe take a 1/2" out of the shoulder, add a 1/2" to length but that's it.  it's close enough to perfect.  the leather feels amazing...now i get all the hype.  i had never seen or felt a TOJ in real life before.

it hits right at the bottom of my belt and is super snug but the arms don't pull at all.  i can layer a sweater or sweatshirt under it but its a little tight...lamb stretches a bit right?  either way...i'm beyond happy!

crappy pic from when i first tried it on.  i'll post some better pics soon.

btw you can see a bit of the grain in the jacket but it's nothing like the grain in that black DR that was being discussed recently.

thanks TOJ!

Well now I'm definitely not going to take any pictures until I get home and change my pants and shirt...no sense in having two of the same photos.

I had the same feeling that maybe it felt short, but I think mine hits at the same place and it looks right. I think that's where the jacket is supposed to end...

Not normally a fan of that style jacket but looking good in that pic jm

hahah sorry to steal your thunder.  more pics the better!

at first i was thinking it might be a bit short but i think its more that i'm just not used to shorter jackets in general.  i couldn't be happier.

The suede patch on my cwu is becoming pretty darn faded, think I could somehow dye/stain it back to dark black?
Shoulder measurement provided looks fine, above jacket is fine.

just ordered a woman's DR, excited! :slayer:

I recently ripped my theory lambskin jacket :(( not sure how it exactly happened, but there's a huge tear in the jacket. the lambskin was incredibly soft, but very thin. let's just say i'm not the most careful person..

I'm afraid that my toj will rip too — any experience with the quality of toj lambskin? is it durable enough or should i have gone with cow/goat?

You should be totally fine, unless you're fighting bears, dinosaurs, or people with knives. No need to change your leather unless you are actively looking for something heavier. The TOJ lambskin is very, very nice.

It's good for your everyday wear, but if you plan on wearing your jacket hard, I would go with cow or goat. The cow in particular is much thicker and thus more likely to take a beating. If you're not concerned about texture, cow or goat would be good options. If not, get the lamb - there's a reason people here rave about it.
