Justo, is that the black lamb? I'm waiting on mine in anticipation (although have been drooling over the recent dark brown goat pics too...)

Fit is spot on, looks great.

Has anybody received a June 2013 DR order yet?

Miss Philippines International 2010 told me that she liked my TOJ 2.0 backpack the other day.
Then it got rained on a bit and I didn't worry about it. Overall, it was a good day.

God fucking christ dammit, I think I ruined my TOJ. For no reason, I decided to soak my leather in hot water, then throw in the dryer. Best idea I ever had, shrank like 2 sizes, was always too big on me but I never did anything about it because I liked the jacket itself so much.

Smells like brake fluid when wet

It came out of the dryer just as soft as when I first wore it over 3 years ago (4?) But, like an idiot, I decided to apply some Obenauf's leather oil to it, a thin even coat over the jacket, came out totally splotchy. I don't know what to do know, just wear it as is? Dye it black? Any ideas?

Surprised it came out nice and soft from the dryer.  Would think that would totally...without better words...dry it out.

Big Pun, the next logical step would be to see if soaking it again in water does anything.

Honestly the fit is great, but that splotching is a nuisance. You may just want to resoak it in hot water to move some of the oil around. This time try the shower, though, and not a washing machine.

... whhhhhhhy would you wash and dry leather??? you removed the finish (protection) and then dried it out. It's skin, not cotton.facepalm.gif

Is it weird that I don't think it looks that bad all splotchy like that?

^^That didn't harm the jacket, and made it fit a lot better. Should've stopped before I used the oil though, haha.
