I'm sorry if I have really been considered that annoying, but that's what the block button was made for. I figured if people don't want to answer a question I have they can block me, they'll never see it, and move on.

to those who said I was going to stop posting:

I really was, until a few of the nicer members around here messaged me and told me to ignore the dicks and just try to cut down on the posts, which I did. I enjoy learning about fashion and these jackets quite a lot and I didn't want lose the knowledge I'd gained or the potential to learn more.

if you guys really think my posts are so bad that I "destroyed this thread," I'd be more than happy to stop posting.

If anyone else is interested, I checked the ETA on my wool MA-1 that I ordered June 12, Charly told me another 2 weeks approx. to ship. So that's roughly 17 weeks leadtime. Not too shabby!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat, ordered on June 18.  The weather is finally such that I could wear the damn thing too.

The best case for silver zips probably goes to Synth:

jacket looks great though, mp

magicalporks, your fit pic alone would make me go in for a qdr. gorgeous.

magicalporks, did you size your QDR to hit right at the wait or slightly below? I want your fit in terms of length. Like when you zip it, does it end above the button of your denim or does it still go over it.

Is it possible to order a double rider but without the belt/belt loops?  I like the epaulets and the front pocket but I don't think I'd ever ever wear the belt with it, and without the belt, the loops seem unnecessary.  Or is that getting too close to going to the restaurant and fucking up the chefs creation (or whatever the metaphor used here is).

You can try asking Charly, but I was told "no mods" sometime after the cutoff was announced in June.

The belt loops and belt help to provide balance to the pretty hefty upper half of the jacket.

Just covers the button, but I sag a little too. It's 20.5" front length and I'm about 5'6" for context.

is pilling inevitable on the ribbed jackets?

how do you guys with a-2's, varsities, etc. deal with it?
There's still essentially no pilling on my 2010 Varsity
