Anyone know how tight the wrist ribbing on the toj0 is? Charly recommended pretty long sleeves so they would stack, but my wrists are like twigs so I'm not sure how it would sit.

Anyone have advice? I'd prefer to go with stock sizes/ Charly's advice, but am a bit worried here that the shoulder measurements are a bit off.

I am a Size 37.

I'm roughly 145 lbs., 5'9.

My actual S2S measurement is 17", and I get recommended 17.3" on the A-2 and 17.6" on the DR styles.

I actually sized up to 17.8" since I want some room to grow into, as I'm still adding more weight.

I don't know the rest of your measurement, but you could go a bit roomier on the shoulder.

as someone who's job deals with measurements on a daily basis this thread makes me laugh

Guys. Look at your jackets. Imagine that the shoulder seam is a half inch further out. That's what a whole inch increase across the shoulders does- almost nothing.

idk man I think if the shoulders poke out a little too much it can make a huge difference.

Which is true to a point. But seriously, go put on a non-blazer, and look at the shoulders. My guess is that you can adjust them pretty significantly without making any impact on the shape of the jacket, especially when talking in inches. A .5 inch adjustment to shoulder width is a quarter of an inch on each side. That's tiny, and makes exactly no difference in anything, especially when you consider that leather stretches, and will stretch more or less than that depending on the stress you put on it.

Basically, people stress so much over shoulder measurements, and they just don't need to.

this measurement is indeed more about your arms than your body.

it was said long ago (2011 maybe) that Drew likes shoulder seams to be a little higher than many other jacket makers. and as mentioned, that's only half an inch on each side. still hard to say though.

Anyone else get a shoulder size recommended smaller than what they measured? And how did it turn out if so? Worried about a similar situation.

Yes, I have for each of my full leathers.

Here's one more showing the shoulder pockets. I don't think I will be using the pen pocket though... the leather is so thin I feel like if I move my arm the wrong way the pen will just rip right through... also, it was my first time putting a pen in there, and that Parker pen actually stretched out that little opening so it doesn't lay flat like the pocket on the right. Not a big deal, but reason enough to not use it to carry pens.
