Could see that view for moto but not CWU. Vintage versions come in different collars (brown and black leather) as well as olive cloth. Styling differences between A2 and collared CWU are not that significant so don't see the reason for such a strident view..

Heres my friend in Suited Wool MA-1. What do you think of the fit? Please Rate

Also does anyone know what the jacket is made out of? Down?

I want to say a little tight when zipped, but what do I know
post #34115 of 42267
That was my first impression, but camera is shot from close up and high making the picture appear top heavy. I can't quite tell, but open I don't see an issue.

I am going to say poly fill. Down filled MA sounds horrible (-ly hot)

Making me super duper stoked to get my QBCDR, and especially happy about the price.

Pretty much identical to my 1970's Lewis Super Monza - black lined, YKK Zips, Diamond Shoulder and elbow quilt. I prefer the shoulders and quilt options on the TOJ - Though I bloody love having a sleeve stash pocket.

Just picked up MA-1. Sized down to a 48, pit is just big enough, fortunately. So soft and puffy, feels like I am wearing a storm cloud.

Hi, what size did your friend order? It would be great if you could share his height and chest measurement, if you happen to know them.
