New on Mr. Porter today: http://www.mrporter.com/product/381456

Making me super duper stoked to get my QBCDR, and especially happy about the price.

Spotted that earlier today too, TOJ quilting really is a lot nicer than that though!

I do like the fact that the lapels can be pinned shut, I have to admit I've been tempted to have that done to my jacket.

That Edwin looks like a janky version of the one Balenciaga (or was it Balmain, I forget) put out last year.

I wish I got a collar on my moto. Now I'll live with this regret for the rest of my life.

Is it worth going into credit card debt to buy a leather MA-1?

Credit card debt is never worth it. Btw, what's the word on your jacket?

Depends how fast you can pay it down. Realistically it won't add more than $50 to the cost of the jacket, so if it's your only option, just do it. Definitely wait as long as possible and start saving now though.

Visiting a tailor in 2 days. Very nervous but I'm confident that if the jacket can be worked on, I'll be able to get a decent fit.

Hmm. The big issue is juggling college payments with jacket payments. I'm going to owe $2500 (not taking into account books) this year out of pocket but I should have enough saved up for that by December.

That's like, 3.2x TOJ full leathers baldy[1].gif
