Cheers willy, have seen these as well as others in the gallery. I was set on black, now toying with the idea of navy.

Overall, I would normally say that it's with regret that I have to shut TOJ clothing down in this way, but I don't regret it all - this is just the metamorphosis and the natural flow - and TOJ clothing will live on forever."

TOJ is still taking orders but it isn't public for how much longer.

Hi all,

In the process of ordering a TOJ Collared Moto. I don't have a similar jacket to compare measurements to those Charly has given me. Will an oxford button down shirt or suit (both MTM/bespoke) be an okay piece of clothing to compare measurements?

Example: I was quoted a 15.5" shoulder measurement based on the body measurement I gave (15"). When I measure my oxfords/shirts from seam to seam (the front seam of the yoke where it meats the sleeve), they measure 15.5". My T-shirts from T-seam to T-seam measure 15.5" to 16". Suit shoulders (light padding) measure 16" or just over.

Any guidance/experience on this?

You could go to a shop and try on a similar jacket and measure that. The TOJ 'How to Order' guide says not to base measurements off a blazer.

Yes. I suppose I should do this.

Also does 19.9" body length and 21.5" sleeve length for someone 5'3" sound about right to you guys?

Those could be right,, but every dude is a little different and just saying 5'3" isn't enough to know what you'd need.

Have you shared this information with Charly as well? He can take that into account. You also need to consider how well the shirts fit and how accurately you feel you measured your shoulders. With that said, I'd imagine that the "non-perfect" fit from an accidentally extra half inch in the shoulders would far outweigh the discomfort from a half inch too little.

Got an email saying cutoff will be in about 2 weeks-ish.

Has anyone had a TOJ jacket shipped to Canada? Just wondering if you had to pay any tax and/or duties, and if so, how much. Does TOJ ship their products via regular postal service, or do they use a courier service like Fedex/UPS?

They use EMS which gets handed off to Canada post. The three jackets I've ordered cleared customs within minutes and there were no duty fees.

I've gotten 4 packages from them and haven't had to pay duties/tax. Shipping is crazy fast too.
