We had something like 20% of the required demand.

Seriously get your TOJ0 if you haven't already, you won't regret it. And I'm a big fan of W+H myself.....you're not going to get TOJ quality at this price from other designers.

Well let's be honest no one in the right mind buys w+h at retail price

But yeah, TOJ may seem expensive for a lot of people, but if you break it down, they've taken so many steps to offer a quality product at a relatively low price compared to designer labels/houses

Here's some fit pics of my Navy/Grey and my TOJ1 2011 which I received a few months ago but never took pics.

My GF likes the TOJ1 2011 since I get two jackets for the price, even though she suspects I will rarely reverse it.

Well from what I saw, it was a classic case of lots of people "expressing" interest and only a minority of people who was actually going to buy the bag.

I completely agree, I too shop W+H when it goes on sale however my size is rarely available by the time it gets marked down.

Sadly that is the case when retailers continue to buy the 1-2-2-1 size ratio even though tons of Asians in Toronto who require Small/Medium over Large/X-Large

so what you're saying is that retailers are stocking the sizes that sell... I can't believe it satisfied.gif Most of my friends from high school (Richmond Hill) would need a size large just because they're >6'0.

Umm what I'm saying is retailers are stocking sizes that don't sell since Large and X-Large is what I consistently see on markdown.

Also a lot of fashion designer silhouette look better in smaller sizes. An XL in Dior, Saint Laurent probably won't look good so using the standard model doesn't work.

As reference, I'm a buyer for a company with 1000 retail stores and I too am restricted to this sizing model and constantly have to markdown the remaining larger sizes. Large companies work in silos, but small retailers have that flexibility. But I digress.

Man, that w+h varsity looks weak compared to toj.

i wonder if the varsity is a trend for the younger guys..or something a guy in their 30s will be able to wear for several years to come as well.

This is one of the reasons I went with a black 4-zip lamb moto as my last TOJ order (the other being SF groupthink). I'm going to be 30 in a couple of years and I think it's a pretty timeless piece. My A2 is definitely timeless.

I know when I hit 30 it's going to be striped polos, light wash blue jeans and new balance 407s
