The canadian / US exchange rate is almost the same, so that wouldn't make a difference.

Other countries have Aus, cad or HK etc., in front of the $ sign.

Except it is relevant if I'm a seller and I'm receiving payments that are 6% under my requested figure.

I'm paying 8% more for USD goods, so I wouldn't say it doesn't make a difference especially when you're dropping large sums of money.

He didn't get a simple Yes/No answer because had he Ctrl+F "USD" on the first page, he would have found this useful post that answers this question.

Though one could argue that the time spent making sarcastic remarks could be utilized to answer the original question.

And in similar instances something priced in USD would state US$. The JC website just states $.

The difference according to my calculations are 0.04 cent.

99,9% of the time $ means US, unless otherwise stated.

really? fuckin seriously?

the process of getting information like this about toj is so fucking obtuse (I mean the unofficial website is incomprehensibly called JOHN COPPIDGE) that it's absurd to complain that such a question was asked by someone who maybe doesn't know shit about the brand.

all these snarky posts do is make it more difficult for anyone in the future to find the actual answer.

not that that will be an issue much longer, i guess

The problem is these same people make zero attempt to find the actual answer. It wasn't like they searched, couldn't find an answer and decided to make a post.

So I'm not sure how replying with a serious answer would help future generations from acquiring the information they need. But I digress.

Had the answer to this question wasn't on the first fucking page of this thread, a snarky remark would not have been made.
