My CWU-45, despite arriving with the same measurements as my A2, now has sleeves that are noticeably shorter when they're hung together. I wear my CWU-45 the most, and my A2 the least.

I'm not saying that it'll bring this stuff to wrist level or anything, but I don't think that should be the ideal anyways.

Yeah, I have owned both lamb and calf before. I can attest to lamb being almost negligible in terms of shrinkage. Calf shrinkage seems like a little more. But honestly who cares? I'm not pedantic enough to calculate fractional inch loss in sleeve shrinkage pre and post wearing for a leather jacket. That's insanity.

If it hits the wrists, it fits. I don't think Sid Vicious or Marlon Brando preemptively accounted for sleeve accordions or took a tape measure out to compare shrinkage over time. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Is the suiting wool MA-1 MTM? I'm assuming it is as the JC website doesn't specify sizing options like it does for TOJ0

If you only kept 1 ToJ, would most vote for the CM?  Seems like more than 1 person has mentioned that it's the ToJ they most regret selling, or has the wide range or age-appropriate style.

^ Although I mentioned that I regretted selling it, it definitely would not be the TOJ I would choose if I could only have 1.

If you base it off how many pictures are in the galleries, then the MDR and the DR would have it as the most popular. My personal favorites are the moto and the collared moto, but I am only one person. Generally speaking, the motos and the bombers probably have the widest range of age appropriateness, but to say any of the available models outright can't be worn by older individuals is silly. If you are trying to decide which one is best for you, buy whatever you like best.

It's hard to capture the color of the olive calf in photos, I have looked at most of them in the gallery and they vary quite a bit. I am inclined to say that these are the most accurate:

Trying my best with my own jacket:

It's like a medium brown with a touch of green to it. I actually think my pictures are pretty darn close (at least on my monitor), but as you look at it from a further distance, it starts to look more like the 2nd picture shown. It's definitely not as dark as the olive lamb, at least from what I gather from the pictures.

I too wonder why the olive calf color varies since I just ordered one. I really like this color, but not sure why yours has a medium brown touch, when this picture below looks totally olive...?

Should be sizing options with length adjustments allowed only.

Also, still sad about no peacoat (either the old or new version).

I would be willing to wager your jacket will look more like mine. You would have to ask c00kz, but perhaps that is olive lambskin? It looks similar to the olive lamb. That, or there were two different olive calfskins.

The suiting wool MA-1 isn't MTM. You choose a base size (e.g. 46) and if necessary, lengths (e.g. 48). Would everyone say black MA-1 > navy?

I would say navy > black.

Thanks for confirming sizing options. IMO black > navy. Had the navy been a deeper and richer in colour, then the choice would be harder.
