Well shoot, now I'm nervous. His jacket looks awfully short and it's a 48 with 50 length. I just got a ToJ0 in the same size. I know everyone's different but now I'm a little worried it's gonna be too short for me. Then again I know everyone says to trust Charly and he recommended that sizing after seeing pictures. I guess I shouldn't worry that much.

Also, when am I gonna find out how long of a wait there's gonna be? Or will I?

So I'm thinking of one final TOJ. I own a black QDR, a grey peacoat, and an olive duffle. Torn between a sky blue suede T-1 and a dark blue leather, maybe a moto or a BCDR. Any opinions?

Honestly id go with BCDR, many companies make moto or something similar not many similar bcdr, that and it's just a really cool jacket.

That's sort of how I feel too, I'm just worried that it overlaps too much with my QDR. I think the color would make it different enough though - maybe a BCDR with no quilting would be the way to go. Also on the plus side, I'd know exactly how to size the BCDR so I wouldn't be rolling the dice there

Similar predicament. Only a few weeks after receiving my brown MDR, I'm ready to order another piece. I just can't get enough of the DR look, its my favorite style in TOJ's collection.

I'm thinking about getting something a little different this time. Maybe something quilted like a QMDR or QBCDR. I'm thinking maybe something in either olive green, navy, or mid-gray. Choice, choices...

I have a moto and a collared moto if that justifies it more for you biggrin.gif

I would also support the BCDR. I personally think one in the dark blue lambskin would be sick and I can attest the the dark blue lambskin is just as nice as the black, really nice stuff. Unquilted also looks better IMO, the clean styling with the line patterns is just awesome.

Im 6'1" 185 and I got a 50 with 48 lengths. Remember, these jackets are not supposed to be long. And you are supposed to wear them open nod[1].gif

Somehow managed to forget that the T-1 in diesel blue is a thing that exists and ostensibly can be ordered. It would be moderately redundant with my RO either jacket in dark grey, however. Ah, decisions.

I'm looking at the t1 as well. Lineup as it stands: black lamb dr2010, black fishtail,!charly special ma-1, black/sand lamb toj0 (ordered earlier this week). I think a t1 would round it out nicely for warmer weather

Brown lamb A2, black lamb qmoto, whiskey mdr, diesel qbcdr, black ma-1

What to get next? Thinking black/black toj0 and electric qmdr. Shame no baseball v2

so i think i'm pretty happy with my A2 bomber sizing from Charly.  he sent initial measurements and i sent a few questions back along with pics of fits i liked.  he sent back tweaked measurements and that was about it. i guess maybe i was expecting a little more back and forth (and explanation) besides just new measurements.  maybe it's the fact that i'm an engineer and i like to know why things are the way they are.  i'm really curious by nature...  i'm sure he is swamped right now with orders so i guess that is part of it also.

I'm going to be obnoxious and ask a few questions here instead of bugging Charly.  if anybody is around 5'-8" 145 lbs, what sizing did you go with?  based on the numbers he gave me, I'm basically in between a 46 and 48.  all this talk about front length has me thinking now.  i know i remember a post a from Drew a little while back saying bomber length should be a solid inch more than rider length.  what are the stock size tables based off of?  also, do the bombers tend to ride up and puff out in the mid section due to the ribbing?  i want to be sure the bottom of my jacket hits just below my belt.  i also told him i wanted to be able to layer a sweater or sweatshirt under the jacket.  i think Charlys sizing is spot on right now but this is my first TOJ so of course i'm overthinking it.  any input is appreciated.  thanks.

shoulders 17.3"
chest (pit-to-pit) 20.5"
midsection 19.0"
waist 18.5"
body length, front 22.6"
body length, back 24.8"
sleeve length, from shoulder 25.5"
sleeve width @ pit 7.4"
sleeve width @ elbow 6.5"
sleeve width @ cuff

5.7"

After this last page of the thread, I think I'm definitely going to go with a QBCDR.  Good point about being able to find similar moto style jackets.

I've wanted something quilted since that Prorsum jacket dropped in SS'11, and now I'm going to have it.

Final decision is whether to go black or blue.  Since this will be my only TOJ, common sense tells me I should go black, but man I Iove the way the navy leather looks.

I really hope someone buys my things before the cutoff foo.gif
