Hi! Im sorry to hear that TOJ will be discontinued! :( I've been wanting one for a long time and now's the time apparently!

I talked to Charly via mail about the sizing of my Double Rider 2010. I was just wondering if anybody has fit pics (and maybe the measurements) for their DR2010 who is built like me?

Sorry if its a stupid question. Thanks in advance!

My measurements:

Shoulder        44cm
Chest        91.5cm
Midsection    78cm
Waist        84.5cm
Front length    48cm
Sleeve length    62cm
Biceps        32cm

Height: 180cm
Weight: 70kg

Peace & love

So what's the consensus on cwu's? I'm thinking of going brown lamb with ribbed collar..brown goat or normal collar would also probably be a good choice. Anyone have any input?

For those who have the CWU, would you recommend including this leather flap thing on the jacket? Does it really have have a useful function? Thinking of taking the flap off as I think it would look better.

Black lamb w/collar with if you're getting an MA-1.

Don't think I'm feeling a black leather...already gonna get a black suiting wool so I want this leather to be brown, so either lamb or goat. If I get enough cash to get a third leather I would get a BCDR in black lamb..but regarding the cwu, I feel like a ribbed collar would be more comfortable..

I'm not sure you can take that off.

You can't be serious right?

I believe the function of the placket is to aid in the zipping and unzipping of the jacket.

you definitely want the placket and the also the suede patch.  crucial design details.

The CWU in black lamb is unbelievably nice, nobody really listens to me here, but it must be seen to be believed, and ordered as-is without trying to change it.

CWU isn't a good choice to go in anything but black lamb because there are two non-leather parts to that jacket that must be matched to the leather.

Drew has said to stick with the CWU in black. Brown CWU is messing with too much, if you want brown look at the A2.

What's the consensus on the BCDR? I'm considering pulling the trigger on it (unquilted, black lamb/silver zips) as I wait for my CWU in black lamb to arrive, they'd be my only two jackets. It seems like a step in the direction I want to take without being as extreme in style as the 4 zip DRs/MDR. Any thoughts or comments welcome.

What non-leather parts are you referring to?

Just went through all of Drew's posts re: CWU, and thought this would help for those thinking to pick one up as well.
