Hello fellow TOJ loyal. I've had my FQHH moto about 10 months now and just wanted to post an evo pic. Let me know what you think!

EDIT: Oh ****, almost forgot to mention. I've worn this thing around Tokyo a bunch and the most common thing I hear is "that thing makes you look like Wolverine", haha!

Won't be worth it IMO. A new varsity is what, $350-400? From a reputable tailor, I would think the job will run no less than $100 with a high risk of having a crappy outcome. I would assume they would have to detach the sleeves from the shoulders and cut from there. At this point, I would much rather sell your current jacket, add the money you'd spend for tailoring, and order a new one.

id be shocked if they shortened a raglan sleeve at the shoulder.. seems it would be alot easier to just do at the bottom/cuff.. but what do i know there is a reason i asked and am not a tailor :) I will investigate and weight the cost option. thanks

Hey guys Im thinking of getting an A-2 Bomber and was wondering if you could help me with sizing. I'm 6' and around 165lbs. I thought that stock 48 would be the perfect size for me but saw a real nice fit pic of a guy wearing 48 and he was only 145lbs so now I'm confused. Should I go up to 50? My shoulders are 17" and p2p about 20". Btw this is the picture I'm talking about http://www.styleforum.net/t/285355/new-toj-brown-lamb-bomber-2011

He's also half a foot shorter than you. You've got 6 inches on him and you're only 20 pounds heavier, a 48 sounds about right.

17" shoulders and 20" P2P is almost 46 territory - definitely don't go up to 50. A stock or lengthened 48 should work well for you.

This is what I still don't get: 20" P2P would be 40" around -- four inches larger than a 36" chest. You'd think the 48 would be loose, yet, by all accounts, it's...not. But why?

(No really, why... Does it have something to do with the way the rest of the jacket is cut?)
