As a prospective first buyer that has been lurking this thread for months, this is the only sizing advice that makes sense.

There are pictures in the gallery with their sf handles so you can pm them. I believe some of them have posted reviews as well so you can always do a search.

EDIT: Instead of being negative, going to try to be helpful instead.

Regarding sizing, what I did is:

- Take measurements per instructions. If you mess up here and get exactly what you order...well, not much you can do there.
- Talked to Charly about what I wanted regarding fit (relaxed, slim or skintight) & letting him know I normally wear under my jackets ( t-shirt).
- Found pics of people w/ my approximate body shape w/ the fit I wanted in the TOJ gallery.
- Thought about the recommended size that Charly gave me, and checked if it made sense.

When I got my jacket, it was exactly as I ordered. Hopefully people new to the thread won't be confused.

A $20 oxford is going to be a $20 oxford. When you're ready for the next level, you'll appreciate the detail that goes into these shirts. Collar roll, material, buttons, construction. I'm just sad that the cuffs aren't mitered anymore. But idk, I'm still a style plebe.

Uniqlo oxfords are too boxy IMO and sleeves keep shrinking

Wearing my MA-1 almost everyday, thought I'd break out the A2 so it won't feel neglected

Yes.

How redundant would it be to have two brown bombers, one in lamb and a calf one if I could get my hands on it?

I have two brown-ish riders. One olive calf and one brown lamb.

I bought the TOJ trousers and they are exactly what I was looking for in a pair of pants for work and clinic. Comfortable top block, great tapered fit, elastic waist is next level (albeit I should've sized down. But trust me, once you go elastic you won't want to go back to a belt. It just doesn't look or feel as good), the wool gabardine fabric is just amazingly soft and amazes me everytime I feel it. I love the feel of the sateen (?) half lining to the knee and the way the legs break perfectly on my derbies. I was first sceptical about the full or 1.5 break that Drew recommended, but I have absolutely no regrets now, this shit just stacks perfectly with the hem width on these. Highly recommended product A+++, I'll order another one of these soon.

I'd love a pair of the trousers, but I can't stand the pleats. Really wish there was a slim flat-front option
