All of the higher-end watches at Costco are gray market. The watch you see is the only one that store has. It's not like they stock them. Damn, this wait for my Min DR is brutal...

Costco just needs to start selling houses then you can truly buy anything from that store. I've seen they sell all sorts of cars...from a 911 Turbo to a Kia. LOL. And to the dude that asked about my occupation, you would be surprised at how many high paying jobs an airport and its surrounding companies have. There are service cabin workers that have been there for a long while that are making $65-70k. (These are the guys that clean out the blankets and pillows and such). Of course, the folks with degrees that are in special ops team/operations make a lot more. Being an air traffic controller is way too stressful for me. Besides, it wouldn't allow me to postwhore on this thread. And those expensive watches at Costco are definitely a one-off. It also depends on the Costco locations too I think. The other Costco I used to frequent around my university campus never had any expensive stuff like this. They just have the Seikos and regular watches up to the low $1,000 range.

also, the thing about Hermes leather bags is that they're like men's watches, except twice the cost - watches in stainless steel are like $5K, Hermes in calfskin are $10K; a nice watch in gold or maybe platinum is like $25K, a crocodile Birkin is $50K... but whereas men can wear a ballin ass watch, at least a SS one, fairly often, a $10K Birkin is like super special occasion type shit. Not one of those bags you just throw in your shopping cart when you go to the supermarket. I've seen super rich Japanese women daily the crocs, but they probably have 5 more at home as well....

Got my blacked out DR back today, alterations took a while but they were worth it, fits damn near like a glove.

Leather is awesome, but I did find this while I was looking over the jacket at work.

Definitely not a big deal, it's in a pretty un-visible part of the jacket, only reason I bring it up is that it's in a relatively high stress part of the jacket (back of the left shoulder, by the armpit underneath the shoulder gusset). Drew, do you think it's worth reinforcing the leather in any way to prevent against anything?

that won't cause failure or anything like that; you could cover it with sharpie or touch it up with black paint if it stands out too much.

definitely in lamb, for now, calf is limited to the baseball jacket colors (which you can have on the A-1)... we have to order huge amounts of that to make the calf happen so I am limiting the calf to just the few colors.
