Guys - the lining is better but is not the primary or even secondary selling feature for ToJ (stying and quality of leather and finishing would all be way ahead). It would be silly to make your decision on the basis of lining alone. It would be like buying a suit on the basis of its lining.

Haven't you seen the Seinfeld episode?

^ great episode

Seinfeld is awesome, watched as a kid...never noticed at the time that all they ever really wear on the show are OCBDs and suede and leather jackets...and of course...varsities.

would kill/maim/steal for burgandy body color option on TOJ0 2013 to do a burgandy/sand

navy/sand is a nice consolation option though

didn't see any mention as to whether striped ribbing would be an option

i wondered the same...doesn't look like the sleeves are as fitting as the TOJ1 and the size chart doesn't have sleeve circumference measurements whereas the size chart for the TOJ1 did

Why can't we all just trust Drew, and have faith that he has our best interests when it comes to materials?

Brilliant - pretty much sums up a big demographic of SF (both sides)

I am not angry or upset. I am simply concerned at the trend that no one seems to be able to ask a question without five people jumping on them. I can understand the annoyance with questions being repeated, but people should be about to ask some questions without fear of being berated. It makes the environment more welcoming and makes people more confident in ordering a jacket. To those of us who have a TOJ or three, we know the drill, but for new people, that first leap is a fairly large leap of faith. You might argue that one could just email TOJ such questions, but someone else on the thread might find the answer useful.

Also, it seems that somehow if someone asks a question (please correct me if I am wrong), that they somehow "don't trust Drew" or are knocking the guys at TOJ in some manner, which is simply not true.

it's all a carefully orchestrated plan to prevent people from ordering in order to reduce the wait time.

One person I never thought SF would rave over was Seinfeld. It's over once you guys start asking about Kramer hair...

Though back to the lining topic. I'm hoping for the new lining in any of my upcoming purchases, but I don't see it as something to delay a purchase over. It's a lining.

been browsing the gallery and man I would love to see the wallets come back, especially if, as other models have been, they were refined and taken to the next level.

Good points. This forum serves to both provide information on ToJ/CJ products and also a way for folks to provide Drew and company with product ideas (sometimes explicitly solicited, sometimes not). The "trust Drew" line suggests he does not appreciate suggestions which I presume is not the case or he would not be as active a participant here as he is.

Note this is not the case with sizing where Charly is an important resource.

Has anyone got the suiting wool MA-1 yet?

Any idea on the lead time?
