I got the Saint Laurent bomber because it looked just like the T0J1 (though the body is made from cotton since this is meant to be a spring/summer jacket) and the T0J didn't seem to be on sale anymore. . In light of the 2013T0J0 release, has anyone had any luck requesting raglan sleeves to get close to the T0J1 or (even better but sees unlikely) has anyone had luck asking for a custom order? I only recently heard of T0J and wanted to know if anyone had anly luck getting something like this. I know many are partial to the full leathers, but I went through the thread and see I'm not alone in the liking of the blacked out varsity so figured it's worth asking...

people buying saint laurent because it looks like TOJ, milestone.

I get that he's attempting to expand to a more high highfalutin customer base and I think that is great, but I hope the helmet isn't the only bag model he offers. If he offers it alongside a daypack and duffle or weekender...hoooo boy, is he gonna get a lot of glorious business.

After seeing that purple suede daypack that baconzilla has, there really is no backpack alternative for me, not even Visvim

Lol. Nah, I bought the jacket b/c it looked cool and the TOJ (a less expensive and also cool alternative) was unavailable for purchase. I think others have mentioned before, a ton of streetwear inspired brands are making these. I just happened to like these two options the best. I think compared to the TOJ the leather on the SL is probably less thick, it is ridiculously soft and I imagine the one on the TOJ will be very thick and feel more durable but want to see for myself I guess. If anyone is selling their TOJ1 or knows if TOJ is open to producing it (since they do MTM anyway and probably have the old pattern) please do let me know, I'd be interested in trying one

This does not hang low, look how short the handles are. It's not a tote with a long ass strap. You'd have to be like 4 ft tall for it to be 'bumping' into the steps.

It's not hard to see. Look at TOJ jackets and look at this bag; you can see where they originated, from early to mid 20th century military or rider inspired designs, and how well they would compliment each other. This bag is for the guy who needs something to carry around their stuff in all day whether it be from school/work to play and transition perfectly. For someone who doesn't want a backpack or daypack because it might not fit his look, because a briefcase would be too serious, doesn't want a messenger bag because every other guy around him is carrying one, a duffle too gym-like, and doesn't want to carry a canvas tote because he doesn't want to look like all the other grocery-shopping Americana Bros/L.L. Bean Husbands. This bag fits that niche. This bag would look fucking awesome with your A-1, A-2, MA-1 or CWU-45/P.

I've had this Eastpak suede backpack for over half a year now, used it every day and love it. While the construction is decent, the fabrics and zippers leave a lot to be desired.

 

 

Would be great to have an upgraded luxe version from TOJ to complement it. Thinking of navy or a dark grey with silver zips to really elevate it past this Eastpak.

Seriously.

I hate wearing a backpack over my A-2. I would much rather carry something like this. I'm sold.

Hey guys, thinking about ordering my first MTM TOJB (TOJ (Temple of Jawnz) Bag)

 

 

Can someone post fit pics and the overall height, width, and circumference of their back? Also should I get black or brown? Lamb or calf? Can I get one with the double-zippers? 

The lamb comment was directed at people talking about wanting it in lamb (although they were probably trolling).

Adding on to what Willy says, most people don't wear backpacks after college on a daily basis... shoulder straps often don't play well with nice clothes also (MC or SW&D).
