When everyone was going on and on about the MA-1's in this thread, I could never figure out what the big deal was. They weren't that awesome....now I am about to order one in black lamb....am I a sellout?

But if you have wide hips and place your jacket over it, doesn't it just flare out hem of the jacket and give you a weird drape in terms of having a rectangular leather body, which flares out at the base

If you have to ask, you're a sellout.

you would want to adjust the torso and hem slightly wider to compensate I believe.

guys guys GUYS!

is a toj0 in navy/black redundant when I already got a toj1 in black/black/camo?
Nope. Different jackets. Hence, not redundant.

I'm going to get a moto 2011 in black lamb soon.  Some quick questions:

I really like the fit of the following pics.  Is there anything specific I should ask for to help me achieve this?  I'm probably quite a bit taller than this guy, but I still like the fit.

I'm 6'3 170lbs.  (slim/muscular with sorta wide shoulders)

As opposed to this:  (no offense to dude in question)  which looks more like a blousy )( fit than the V fit I posted above.

Is some of this difference because the first jacket isn't as long?  (and therefore doesn't have to fit over the waist as much)

I'm trying to isolate why I like the first pics so much more than most of the other pics I see.  Maybe its the lighting, or maybe the fit is too tight, and is accentuating a built physique.

Thoughts?

That's me in the first pic. FYI, that was really really tight on my shoulders; I could barely reach for things. I had to get rid of it. I don't have any tips on how to get that look without it being way too tight, although when I have time I can post my black lamb DR that I think looks as good and isn't constricting at all.

I'm 5'8, 165 for reference.

Yeah, if you could post some pics that would be awesome.

If the original had been lamb and just a tad more relaxed on the shoulders, would you have kept it?

And that's me in the 2nd pic.

I don't know who you are, I don't know what you want. If you are looking for better fit pics from me, I can tell you I don't have them. But what I do have are a very particular set of fits; fits I have acquired over a very long period of wearing clothes. Fits that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my somewhat "blousy" fit go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.

Anyone got tracking today?

Hey guys, so I got my Toj1 and med. whiskey calf MDR!

They arrived Wednesday after I got tracking on 22/2/13, very fast (UK resident).

I'll post some fit pics up soon but I've got a couple of queries on the MDR;

the calf is crazy stiff, people aren't kidding! My concern is that I'm finding the arms quite tight around my forearm when bending at the elbow, so much so that I seem to be developing bruising after a few minutes of wear. The other thing is the armholes seem quite high and are pushing into my armpit quite a bit. The chest and body fit close but still comfortable.

I was wondering whether these tight areas are normal and what I can do to quicken the breaking in process so it's more comfortable to wear?
