I am sad, seems trouser production is on hiatus. Any idea when it will be coming back? They seemed perfect for what I wanted.

I think they're back on, or if not, they will be back on very soon. Shirts also, she seemed to have sorted herself out now.

"For lambskin garments, Obenauf's suggests using its Leather Oil ($11.95), which repels water, resists cracking and scuffing, and treats and preserves leather so it may breath and not dry-rot."

Has anyone ever tried this?

oil might stain the leather too much, which would be a concern on non-black leathers. I recommend protectants or cremes that don't penetrate the hide as much, and lay on the top more than going all the way through.

I've had good results with Lexol on lambskin.

^ Obenauf's will definitely take the leather several shades darker, and it will have a fairly heavy smell to start. Great for boots, do not recommend for jackets.

elephant leather preserver is what I use once a year.

it's synthetic. and non greasy. it's good.

We've seen Giant snake. How much would an elephant leather jacket run me?

Why not just slather it in renovateur?

I mean..it's expensive, but so is your jacket (and so is the hermes shit that I think gets hit with renovateur in the factory)

i just slathered lexol on my lamb skin recently, it just drinks up the lexol. To me it seems to give the jacket a look of new life, and just hides the blemishes/scuffs

I am pretty sure I remember a dude having good luck with this. He used it in conjunction with some shoe polish to get a big scuff out of a jacket.

Consensus is then: Lexol for lambskin, Obenaufs for calf? and what for goat?

i do lexol for calf too.
