Exinam, can I ask how do the armholes feel on your Bomber?

I ask as I just got mine through, awesome jacket - it's a snug fit but manageable, only issue is the armholes feel a bit high/tight to me.

Did he? I know he's opined that most people look like shit in all black because they lack a calibrated sense of tone. He also had a post about dark/raw denim tones that I recall reading when I was a newbie and scouring the archives that I found both insightful and overwhelming:

It's not really that surprising. The Pantone color book shows that there are vast differences between different types of blues. And the color of denim is even more complicated, because the light also plays with the texture of the fabric.


I have to laugh when I hear people say things like "I only need one pair of dark jeans." Sure, but then you are going to be either limited in your choice of tops and accessories, or look like a dork. My 5EPs are the closest I have to a "universal" jean, because the denim is extremely complicated, and there are lots of different levels of tone in the dye, but there are occasions even those do not work.


BTW, Jet, I'm sorry that you can only barely distinguish between primary colors That must be so sad

Can anyone help me with a fit on the TOJ0 varsity? How does it compare to something like the DR? The TOJ1?

 

I've been advised by another SF user to size up to 52, but the fit guide on http://archeo.graphr.net/web/2009/toj/0/ says a 52 has 29 inch sleeves. That just seems incredibly long and kind of blows my mind. If I have a 41 inch chest, would a 52 in the TOJ0 (or other varsities) really be a better fit than the 50?
 

I know the "TOJ Multiplier" says my chest measurements for their jackets in inches are about 43, 44, and 45 inch for tight to loose.

 

 

Just trying to figure out if I should go for a 50 or 52 here. I have 18-19ish inch shoulders, a 41 inch chest, and usually go with 26-27 inch sleeves.

Don't know how it is with the toj0, but with the toj1 I've gotten the impressions you should size up one

They add a couple of inches so that the sleeves stack. imo people who avoid the added length look like they have sausages for arms.

armholes are fine, it is just the waist and especially bottom part which could be a bit larger.

Hey guys. What's the longest wait time to be expected for an A2 bomber? I'll be going on a 3 month holiday during the summer, so would like to have it sent to my address before then i.e. a lead time of <17 weeks.
