If you plan on getting bigger then sell, if you're going to stay the size you are now, then keep

It's not supposed to be super long. The sleeves are verging on short, but I think it's a solid fit.

So the ToN trou look awesome, and I need a pair of casual black pants. How's the weight though? Am I looking at summer pants? Or s/a?

I don't know how you're arriving at this conclusion, as my post does not really have anything that indicates the possession or lack of confidence. These are simply observations of social dynamics in the aforementioned circumstances (admittedly anecdotal), in efforts to encourage guys to try out jacket styles they like but are initially uncomfortable with. If I did so poorly, my bad.

Looks too snug.

It looks OK open, but closing it reveals that it's definitely too small.

Thoughts on the fit? Not sure if I should keep

Lose 15 lbs and you should be good

Also cut off 1-2" of your arms.

So I thought it over a lot, and I think I've settled on the band collar double rider. I've tried buying leather jackets ready-to-wear before, but always chickened out whenever they didn't fit exactly as I liked and returned them. Heard only good things about ToJ, so I'm biting the bullet this time: Is black calfskin the best material for a leather newbie to start out with?

No, black lamb.

Jacket fits fine. Learn to like the slimness of the fit b

just ordered a dark brown goatskin 4-zip MDR with silver hardware!

The TOJ1 looks fine. Pretty aggressive fit.

In my opinion: If you think wearing a monochrome t-shirt and some jeans that fit feels out of character (or scary) then save yourself the closet space and skip on the rider. If you're self-conscious about hardware, why bother with a rider? Opt for a CM, bomber, or trucker. If the jacket fits your frame and the rest of your clothes fit, it will look good on you. If youre the type of guy who wants to 'mix things up' by throwing a rider over your obcd/chino/brogue uniform, save people the eyesore and cop a bomber or truckers jacket. Black lamb silver 4zip DR is king, and if you only want/can have 1, get the 4zip. The finishing on the cuffs, the balance of details on the front, and the cut of the jacket make it one of the most baller choices next to the bcdr imo.

Can you record a reading of this so I can play it every time I charge into battle?

I personally like the gunmetal hardware over silver
