I think too many people psych themselves out about the DR.  It's really not that hard to wear. DR+tee+jeans+sneakers/boots.  I was a little bit unsure when I ordered mine, but once you put it on and look at yourself and start getting compliments from people it starts to feel natural.

Yeah, the dr isn't as intimidating as some make it out to be. The first time you put it on any doubt is gone and you just ooze confidence. It's a really great jacket and my favorite possession.

Btw, one of the zippers on my front pockets came undone and i can't seem to fix it. Any suggestions?

Where should the sleeves on a leather jacket end?

The same for the bottom of the jacket. Where should that end? At the hips?

on riders, the sleeves, i'd say a little past the wrist myself. this measurement was, on me, longer than I thought. bottom of the jacket, I like the idea that it ends about at the coin pocket of your jeans.

What types of people might that be?

People that constantly worry about what others might think of them.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
It's just a jacket!

Here is the thing about the DR, but really this applies to any piece of, what I will call, "more eccentric" article of clothing. Some people are just born with the look, personality, or swagger to more easily pull off anything they put on, initially anyhow. That said, when someone gets a new, notable item of clothing or tries out a new look, it is unusual, because it is new. It is not something your friends, coworkers, or family currently see as "you". Hence, you get more comments, be them positive or negative. After awhile, if you stick with it, that new look becomes "you". It has been associated with you long enough that it no longer looks out of place and it is no longer a question of "pulling it off". That is simply how you dress.

This is why celebrities get away with their more outlandish style choices:

They are already associated with an image. Whether you like their style or not, you aren't surprised when you see it.

I guess I will put it this way. If you like it and can feel comfortable in it, you will eventually "pull it off". The question is then: what jacket/style do you like best? Or what style/jacket do you want to become your style?

I think Biggen should continue letting Drew swag him out

MTM is the only way to fit your body proportions, Biggen, because both shirt and parka look pretty good

Announcement: did not ship today as planned, though there are things ready to ship; planning on returning from Chinese New Year's holiday and doing the shipping on Wednesday instead, with hopefully a couple more piece for the lot. They'll still arrive within the same week, we're just doing the usual New Year's temp shutdown as of today.

Well holiday celebrations last quite a while so I dunno if he's going to be shipping it soon. Just trying to get my leather before it gets too warm to wear one. Didn't expect them to hit mid-December delivery date but wait is starting to get nerve-wracking. Also gonna get some MTO shoes soon if I don't get jacket though I'd really like a FQHH
