At under $150, you aren't likely to get anything GY welted. For a brown bomber, Sperry actually makes a decent looking boot:

Men's Cloud Logo Boat Oxford Lug Boot

For a brown bomber, a brown boot will always look better.

Thanks.  I was actually thinking about copping a pair of momas...I dig the design (cdiem derivatives) - quality is probably questionable though.  Price is also a little harsh unless had on deep deep discount...something like this.

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

Price is around 200-250, what do the ToJ homies think?  All my sneakers are black or white so I'm ok there - hard to mess that up. BUT - I know nothing about boots, just want something to wear with my brown lamb A2/would like an actual pair of boots because I don't have a pair.  Would be wearing with raws 80% of the time.

Also, would  these be wearable with black leather?

You owe it to your jacket to get nicer boots.

So I ordered a diamond quilted BCDR a couple weeks ago, and now I find myself in the position where I'm about to possibly hit a serious amount of £££, how're people finding the A2, particularly in black lamb?

The A2 is a classic, goes well with almost everything and its pretty conservative and a safe bet.

Sold. Will see how the BCDR fits when it arrives and then get my order through for the A2.

Notcrispy, those MOMAs look really good. Where are you seeing them?

I own a pair of their boots in black, wear them constantly. they're great, but run 1 to 1 1/2 sizes big

Lol, someone just bought the last/only pair in my size out of my cart.  They were on the official moma site

I have an MDR in the queue as well and was debating the same thing.

That said, I do have a black lamb moto with silver zips. I have to add that ladies love the silver zips. The jacket gets commented on all the time and there have been a few instances when a girl complimented the hardware specifically and had her girl friends all crowded around touching my ToJ zips (and then the lambskin).  I've also heard the silver zips was too "bling" - but only from 1 guy (my friend).  Not sure what it is about the silver zips.  But in the end, gunmetal looks cool too. And I don't have any in gunmetal so maybe it would get the same reaction.

My TOJ1 2011 finally came. Took nearly four months from payment to get to my door, but eight days of those should be blamed on Canada Post (they suck).

A perfect, perfect fit. Trust Charly. I was worried that I got the sleeves too short but they drape excellently, and pull back when the arm's bent juuuust a touch; barely enough to reveal a watch or something.

Thanks, TOJ team, you guys have another happy customer! Definitely going to be referring some friends to your stuff.

Found out this weekend that if you get puke on your lamb skin, that area will turn much stiffer than the rest of the jacket. ffffuuuu.gif
