Denmark has 25% VAT + 12% customs and the custom is added after vat. rolleyes.gif

We have it like that in Norway as well but have never paid any fees since they always mark the package with a low value.

I have had a Blacked out MDR for about a year now and somehow it looks like something bit a chunk out of it the size of my pinky fingernail. I was wondering if this is something that I could take somewhere to get fixed? Or do I just mark it up as a battle scar?

Find a leather care/repair shop (good cobblers can also do it). You can get it glued back together. Won't be perfect, but better than leaving it as it.

Thanks

I have a lamb A-2 in black. Love it. Brown is classic and is a nice color away from the monochrome thing. But..for me the black works better and goes with most of my clothes and shoes. Also, the black seems more chic to me (esp with the shearling collar). That said, one change I would have made is to go with goat for this particular design.

Was just looking at the TOJ1/MA-1 reversibles. Would be happy to see a Gore-tex (or water resistant) MA-1 make a comeback.

Drew said he's not going to do nylon again, and that Gore-tex was cost prohibitive.

You're going to have to wait a bit longer. I placed mine on Sept 23 and only got it last week.

And to the whole brown vs black. IMO Brown A-2 and get a Black MA-1. Win/win

Thanks for the insight. Why goat over lamb?

Drew, I'm gearing up for a BCDR is black calf suede.

Wondering what the texture of the suede is like... does it lean more toward rough out or velvet? What's the thickness?
