LAX is pretty miserable. They have nowhere to eat in those terminals and I had to put my name down to wait 30 minutes to eat some horrific Mexican food at On the Border, and that was pretty much my last taste of America this year. :( In hindsight I should not have done that.

America is better than that, I promise!

haha yeah I know man, but the air travel situation in America is so bad these days that I really don't want to go back. I don't mind flying in Asia, it's still pretty good. I've been flying out of Haneda in Tokyo mostly for the past few years instead of Narita and Haneda is quite nice now that it's all renovated and they're flying more and more int'l flights in and out - the lines are very short, they have a big multi-restaurant hall decorated in old 1860's Edo theme, you can get a SIM for your iPhone pretty painlessly just a few steps from the ticketing counters, and the train station is right through the front doors, it's now one of the most convenient international airports IMO, it's gonna be underrated for awhile. Takes about 20 minutes from Haneda to my doorstep by car.

So yeah, you're right. Travelling between Japan and Korea isn't too bad. But wait, what?! A SIM for your iPhone? You can't open that thing up!

Yeah you can man, just need a paper clip and the SIM slides out on a tray. I guess our iPhones are different.

Hm okay. Never bothered with the iPhones. I've taken apart and seen inside a lot of Apple products down to the component level and didn't like what I saw. Never went back since.

I spent many lunch breaks at On The Border. They want to expand the airport, but there's just no room.

On an unrelated note, how many members are actually in the platinum club, dude?

I must say this is a unique reason not to like Apple.
