We made one, long ago - a wool version. We could do heavy wool later but I'm thinkign of releasing that suiting wool MA-1 pretty soon. Considering the manufacturing timeline it'd be a nice spring piece, has volume without being too hot.

Is a ToJ trench still in the works?

Yeah, it's 4 am, and I just walked home through this because my bus failed to show up. At least the snow is under control.

Are you going to be getting any other type of wool for your jackets by any chance drew?

I'm going to order (well, I want to order) a TOJ 2011 but I'm not sure if any of the sizes are going to work out for me ugh.

I've been thinking about ordering the peacoat for some time now. Only thing is, I can't decide on a color. Most of my footwear is brown: AE Bayfield boot in brown, AE Malvern chukka in brown, AE Delray blucher in brown, Wolverive 1000 Mile in rust, Clarks Desert Boots in beeswax. Otherwise it's just white sneakers, and I may pick up some black 1000 Miles to wear with my CWU.

Should I default to cracked pepper/brown trim, or could I go with navy/black or dark gray/black? What makes cracked pepper different from a shade of gray or heather gray?

Doing all kinds of hemming and hawing over here.

I've decided I want to have a 4-zip moto in black goat with gunmetal zips in my life. Do I:

(A) Go for the 2011 model even though I already have a BCDR and CM in the 2011 make-up?

(B) Hold out to see if there's a new model introduced, knowing that there's no guarantee that black goat, gunmetal zips, or even MTM will be available at that point?

Ah, indecision. The only constant in my life. confused.gif

buy now think later, can always buy a new model down the road but it seems rare to regret a toj purchase even if new styles come out

I have this exact combo and love it. I don't think you'll regret it if you buy it now. Also seeing how the preference seems to be on the one-way silver zip, if the gunmetal is important to you, that may be something to consider. Final thought would be if you even need MTM.. as the consensus seems to be that most people don't actually require full MTM, just adjustable lengths to get a good fit

Melton wool MA-1 would be excellent.

Wool A-2 was awesome too actually. I could see myself getting one for winter and sizing it a little more generously than my leather one for layering.
