Damn I started drinking beers 3 hours ago when I started catching up with this thread from when I left for a month in Asia, early August. Pretty smashed now.

Anyway. I wanted to post those pictures of my 2010 lamb Moto which celebrated its 2nd bday in October or so, although it had to be sent back to Korea with a broken zip (I broke it again but fuck it), and came back 3 months afterwards. I also have one of the only blacked out 1st generation DR, need to take pictures of it, although it's appearance hasn't really changed much over the 3 years of ownership.

I apologize if this has been discussed, but will you be "showing off" all the new john coppidge pieces before or after you cut off the typicaly TOJ sales? I.e. would it be possible to see what all the new line has to offer then decide whether to you want a new item or an old item?

I know you have shown the MA-1 and ladies piece, but will there be others that won't be released until later?

^ whilst it would be great to see the new line whilst the old line is still available, I doubt this would happen.  As you can see, the MA-1 and womens BCDR are not within their current product offerings, therefore it doesn't conflict with their current line & sales. For example, i would be surprised if they tease us with a John Coppidge A2 Bomber prototype whilst still offering the current TOJ A2 Bomber.  I'm not saying it wouldn't happen but I would be 'gratefully' surprised 

 

IMO if you like a piece now, get it before the price goes up and while MTM is still available.  If you don't like any of the pieces now, wait till the new line of products.

Drew said that they would announce a final cut off date. You're not going to wake up one morning to John Coppidge and no more available ToJ pieces. It's hardly bad business, simply more unorthodox than you're used to, but so is consulting StyleForum for sales information and trusting a guy named Charly to size a jacket for you to be delivered after you paypal him money and wait 8 weeks for it to ship out from Korea.

i know drew's said many times that the QDR looks best in lamb, but would one in black goat still do the quilting justice?

So...when can we order the MA-1...

damn that moto looks nice. I'm planning to buy either a black MDR or black Moto before ToJ ceases... ahh such a hard decision

is there any ready to order products? i remember reading that it would be in standard sizes....need things for the winter but couldnt wait 2  months 

Yeah, I want to order another one, too, but I've been in full-on shirt replacement mode (going MTM)... And they just cut my OT this week. Dammit.

You ever think of doing something in cotton or maybe a denim jacket drew?

Any shipments going out this week Drew? I can't tell if shipping is every week or every two weeks or less frequently than that. Really hoping to get my jacket before december.

Thinking of getting a qmoto in black goat myself, would love to hear opinions as well. I think the tougher texture of goat would be nice with quilting. In my mind, lamb is almost too luxe.
