Not sure if your arm office scales with body size or not (I wear 52) but just an extra 0.5-1 cm would be awesome for the iPhone and wouldn't screw up your pattern too much. Love the jacket.

The Napoleon pocket is made to fit a cell phone. If you're (much) larger than 46 it might even fit one of those larger Note phones. It's scaled to be about the size of the gas mask flap but internally the pocket is shaped downwards a bit to hold the cell phone at a slight angle

6 months is quite a long wait, but good thing the wait time now is about 8 weeks. A world of difference.
And the angry tranny needs to go relax, some of the things said against the other guy is a bit over the line

The wait times are getting made to look a lot worse on here lately than they are; often times people don't mention that they waited two months and then changed the order to something completely different, or have already received the item and then sent it back for something; most of that can be alleviated by copping once you're decided on a piece and then sticking with it. (insert restaurant analogy here)

Our lead times have dropped a lot, but it doesn't retrodate or anything - just a luck of the draw. We will probably get busy again soon, and also, I want to have an all-out TOJ: the end sale before we move on to JC. that might have to happen soon, if we are to finish by the time I'd like to.

Regarding tobeh and his waffling between canceling his order for a full refund, and asking us about somebody's TOJ on ebay (which was listed with stock pics of me, no less) - well, naturally, we can't fuck with that. That is a good way for us to blacklist you after all is said and done. You wouldn't go into a McDonald's, order a burger... then in the meantime walk up to somebody and ask if you can buy their used burger off them for 15% off, then go back to the counter later and cancel your order, right? We have to keep things moving.

Hey Drew with the end of ToJ and your reference to an end sale, do I need to consider buying something now not knowing whether it will continue on in the JC line up (maybe you've already said what will continue on)? For instance, I'm interested in getting a fishtail parka, but since that's more based on stock sizes (with some change to sleeves?) will I be able to pick that up when the transition is made? Or do I need to start considering getting that in this end sale.

Yikes, what else do people do to get themselves on the TOJ blacklist

Charly, I sincerely apologize for all the annoying sizing emails

Well, I ordered at the cut-off, paid at the cut-off and have made no changes to my order.

Sigh, it'll get done when it gets done. Perfection cannot be rushed and I can wait just a little while longer. I'm hoping I'll get it in time for Christmas. Drew, do you offer gift wrapping services? A leather-bound box with a red ribbon would be awesome. laugh.gif

"all out TOJ: the end sale" as in sample sale?

I ordered at the end of May, and got mine last week. It wouldn't of mattered If i had it a month sooner, because I wouldn't of been able to wear it during those months anyways. 5 months for a jacket that's made to my measurements for 750, was it worth it? Yea, it was.

Out of curiosity, what did you order?

After ordering 5 TOJs, the worst/longest part of the process for me has always been the time period AFTER receiving my tracking #. I become addicted to checking my shipping statuses over the USPS app, even though I KNOW that it'll reach my doorstep either Monday or Tuesday.

New MA-1 looks great. Would love to see a fit where it's paired with a white TOJ OBCD and slim trouser. satisfied.gif

I wonder if neu-bizcaz (suiting wool ma-1, baller oxfords) will be the focus of the first JC collection.

Alright, more on the women's BCDR - that's just a sample prototype we made but it came out exceedingly well, and it was the first time we worked with a new maker and he's ready to work for us, things are good down there. The only changes to be made to what you saw are that I'm gonna change the pulls on the sleeve zips only to regular bar pulls. The rest of it is in place.

So.... if you have a woman you love, or a women you like, or even hate but spend time with, show them the new women's BCDR and get their opinion on it, and post back. I don't want to branch out to full women's just yet, but guys who know what TOJ is about might be able to convey the message better to their own women...
