Needless to say this one is for sale. DAMN!!!!

What do you guys think?

The first pic makes me look fat, I think.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I don't get why people say this looks okay? It looks to be at least 4 inches too long in the body, and probably the same in the sleeve. You should try to sell that jacket, it will never look good on you.
Did you measure yourself correctly? You should be able to see from the numbers that that thing would be too long. I mean, it can go more than halfway down your bum by the looks of it.

Did anyone say that looked okay? People said the TOJ1 was passable.

I am not a native speaker, but is there any real difference between "okay" and "passable"?

My point is, that jacket is not passable.

There's two jackets in his post.

haha flexing in the bathroom, I'm 6'1" 240, if you're fat I'm a fucking cow. Navy side looks super awkward, black side looks better but still long. Bummer. Live, learn and re-size.

3. Repeat loop
ie. Should I get lamb/calf/goat in black/brown/olive/red/yadda yadda
Phase II (The Wait, est. time frame: 4 weeks - 23 weeks):
1. Be sure to post in thread what you copped
2. Doubt self measurements
3. Remeasure
4. Bug Charly (potential further delays)
5. Repeat steps 2, 3, & 4
Phase III (The Self Doubting Phase aka. Blame Charly Phase, est. time frame: directly proportional to insecurity level):
1. Measure jacket
2. Compare to Charly's recommended measurements
3. Post pictures
4. Get bombarded by users who think jackets should be skin tight
5. Downward spiral of drugs and alcohol
6. Sell jacket
7. Jacket was actually great but it's too late
8. Regret and tears
9. Blame Charly

Here is the email I sent Charly. I bought a Slim Fit Levis Trucker in Large and sent my measurements along with pictures of me in the jacket. To assit Charly in helping me.

Charly said a 54 stock should suffice. If I would have seen his fit pics I would have most def not went with his suggestion.

I know my measurements pretty well.

If I decide to purchase another what size do you suggest? I am a large in most european jackets and a medium if they are regular fit.

My intitial thought was to get a 50.  Until I learned that a 52 was a large.

----Start of email to Charly--------

Ok, I bought a Levi's Slim Denim Jacket just for this.

Here are the following measurements of the jacket (i like the fit)

Shoulders 19"

Pit to Pit     22"

Mid             22"

Waist          21"

Front          24.5"

Sleeve       27"

Sleeve Widths bicep          8.5"

elbow         7"

wrist            5.5"

My Measurements are:

Shoulders 18"

Chest 42"

Waist  37"

Front   21"

Sleeve 27"

I am 6'3" and weight 210 lbs.

With this info can you advise me on what size I should go with. I would like it to fit slim.

I was considering 50 but not sure.

I just want my first TOJ to be a good experience.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think denim jackets are a good reference for other styles due to their unique cut. You didn't have anything else that might help in sizing?

Have you measured the jacket you received? Post fit with the other jacket. Based on measurements, 54 shouldn't look like that.
