ya maybe i shoulda expected to get a sarcastic response from the way i phrased it ....

just wondering if you guys thought if a black 4-zip is able to match with these types of shoes in terms of aesthetics when paired up with jeans/chinos and shirt

or would that be better matched with the a2 bomber only

I really dislike that idea(kinda gives off that dad-who-reads-GQ vibe to me) but I think you have a better idea of how it'll work with your wardrobe better than anyone else. If you're set on getting a moto and wearing it like that, you can prob walk into a department store and try on a few to get a feel for how it'd look, and make a decision based on that.

Otherwise, if I was looking for something to pair with your kind of streetwear, I'd prob go with a deep navy suede A1 or A2 (obviously theres no shearling on this) or the latter in brown lamb.

Kinda like this visvim suede A2 (in spoilers): Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

that suede a2 is sick

and no i don't wear those kinds of shoes (but i want to and they look so nice, was just thinking how it can fit into my wardrobe)

my 4zip should be coming anytime now since I ordered it before deadline

You need to stop caring about what others think and just wear what you want to wear.

Thanks for everyone's input, I succumbed to the peer pressure and ordered an olive fishtail in M.

Mine isn't, but it's only been 3 months or so.

dont worry it wont turn yellow. although pissing on it and cum stains might turn it yellow. beer and coffee might ruin it too

3 zip is the standard format, right?

Hey guys, on the verge of ordering a whiskey calf DR2010 right now (although I'm also keen on a black CM and brown A2, both in lamb, I think I should go for something with more of a ...wow factor? for my first purchase).

I've sent my measurements to Charly who I thought suggested something which sounded a bit loose... my measurements are below

Shoulders - 17.75"
chest 41"
midsection 33"
waist 38"
arms 26"
front length 23.5"
biceps 14"

6ft3" 170 pounds

Charly's initial suggestion was

shoulders 18.0"
chest (pit-to-pit) 21.6"
midsection 19.0"
waist 19.5"
body length, front 23.5"
body length, back 25.7"
sleeve length, from shoulder 26.5"
sleeve width @ pit 7.4"
sleeve width @ elbow 6.4"
sleeve width @ cuff 5.5"

We settled on chest being 21", mid being 18.5" and waist being 19" with everything else as he suggested. Keep in mind I've got a bit of a gut and my waist will certainly go down 2 inches in circumference soon as I get back in the gym.

However...seeing a few of the orders put through this thread, people tend to be going for sizes which sound a bit looser. I'm basically trying to avoid a baggy fit, but I don't want to walk like a plank with this thing on because it's too tight either.

What would everyone's suggestions be?

tldr

I'm not sure how close to my actual body measurements my DR2010 order should be and I wanted to see what others had done (specifically with regards to chest, mid and waist).

Sizing down based on suggested measurements bc you expect to lose weight isn't advised. Plus, house cut isn't baggy.
