Thing is, I thought "Temple of Jawnz" was somewhat ironic as well.

.  Although my ultimate preference is what they currently have going for the TOJ1.  Fixed sizing with the ability to modify sleeve and body length only.  Maybe for DR's (or any jacket without elastic cuffs) they will throw in the option to modify cuff width as well.  biggrin.gif

And on the topic of fixed sizing, I hope the fixed sizing table includes in between sizes like 47, 49, 51 etc.

This. I'd have no need for mtm if there were odd stock sizes so I could just grab a 45. I have pretty normal proportions, but for the most part fall right between the 44 and 46

There used to be?

That said, I am not convinced buying a 46 instead of a 45 would really make that much of a difference.

I've bought 4/5 TOJ oxfords so far and they have basically been the best shirts I have purchased. Only thing that is stopping me from buying more is that I already have blue and white oxfords. Any plans on bringing back some patterns like you did ages ago?

i actually am, man.
John Coppidge represents more than Temple of Jawnz now, as the inside joke on Temple of Jawnz has worn out its welcome and become a small bygone era from years ago. John Coppidge is the new future.

But John Coppidge is also an inside joke? :S

This sounds like when Snoop Dogg became Snoop Lion

yes but a) it lacks the 'z' that makes Temple of Jawnz so cringeworthy, and b) i want for people to believe that there is truly a person named John Coppidge. after awhile, they will. You guys can be in on the joke but Drew Keith is becoming John.

I would prefer:
Copidge
Copige
Copij

all pronounced like Coppidge, of course, but at least this way it's a little more subtle.

Now I'm torn between the peacoat and the fishtail parka.  I'm worried the fishtail will be too warm for 30-40 degree weather and worried the peacoat won't be warm enough for below-freezing temps.

Popping in to say that the convertible cuffs on the MDR are amazing. When people would bring them up, I always thought it was some aesthetic thing that I didn't understand the appeal of (like functional buttons on the cuff of a jacket/coat sleeve) but they turned out to be really practical, and I'll probably make use of them every time I put the jacket on. satisfied.gif

... and now I wish that a similar detail was available for the 2010 DR. laugh.gif
