Count me in as someone who likes it, just received tracking for this! FWIW I ordered at the deadline, then added some sleeve length a few days later. Will post pics next week.

Didn't sleep very well last night, just kinda fading in and out.

Had a dream where I was at a dim sum with my family wearing a v2 ocbd and slurping on this shrimp jawn

...and having specks of soy sauce splash all over my shirt

I think I really need to reassess some shit if these are the kinds of dreams I'm having haha

Ok looking for some input for measurements on an MDR
I'm 6 ft 4" and 85kg....tall and slim
my chest is 41"
true waist is 30"
shoulders 17.25"
Sleeve 26"

I've been back and forth with Charly but would be interested to hear what others of similar builds have to say....so far I've been recommended a slightly modified 48, which is unusual since all my other jackets are L or even XL

Cheers in advance SF

This is a little irrelevant but I didn't want to dig up the other thread but is the Kichi Store proxy going to come back any time soon?

I know it was said there were currently too many things going on and I assume that's still the case but I can wait for whenever.

Is that how you guys type it out? I always go with "Shu Mai", Unless we are talking about a completely different thing.

You sure your shoulders are really 17.25? At 6' 4" with a 41" chest, I feel like they would be bigger. I am your height (albeit a bit heavier) and mine are 19-19.5.

If you are 5'7/8"-6'1" and maybe on the more normal side of skinny/slim at 120-155/160, you are probably in the 17.5"ish range maybe - 35-37" chest
5'7/8"-6'1" and 'normal build - 140-170, rising with height - you are probably a 17.5-18" s2s, maybe 37-39" chest
5'9'"-6'2" - 'athletic' build, 160-185? - you are likely to be 18"+ s2s, 40+" chest
around 6' and over, 190 and over - your shoulders will start at 18.5" probably, if not 19-20" and your chest will be like 42"+ if not 43 or 44"

I just had my lady re-measure, she measured 17.75. I have a really solid chest but narrow shoulders it's kind of weird. I would have picked a 50 for myself and added an inch in length of body and sleeve but I'm not sure now.

just let charly choose a p2p based on your measurements/desired fit and don't worry about 'sizes' too much.

the arm, I'd encourage you to try on some TOJ if possible. What city are you in? Maybe someone can help you out. I have similar chest and waist (39 chest, 29 waist) and I kind of have decided TOJ doesn't work for my body. I still hold out hope tho. I have a TOJ1 in 50 (varsity usually needs size +1) and it is so tight in the armholes (lats I guess) but rather big and blousey in the waist. Perhaps if you are doing custom MDR it will work out. But I'd have to think you'd be a 50. Then again, Charly is good at sizing. I'd really suggest trying on some TOJ.

I would double check with a couple of well fitting jackets. Personally I found that all my well fitting shirts, jackets, and suit coats have a shoulder of approx 19" and I am very satisfied with that measurement on both my TOJ jackets.
