confused.gif I'm pleasured to have your business, but don't really encourage one to stretch so far as to resort to a choice between white or beige leather jackets so that they can handle Socal sun... you're makin me feel guilty that I didn't make as many lighter pieces redface.gif

There can be only one solution. Make it so, please biggrin.gif

Is the ribbing at the waist stretched out before being attached to the suede? I'm getting weird bunching at the back that gives the jacket a funny shape, and trying to decide if this will correct itself with wear as the ribbing stretches confused.gif I really want to like it.

the ribbing will stretch to a point where it becomes comfortable and the bunching will also fall more naturally at that point.

Like all good things, wear it in smile.gif

Really like your avatar in VSLI, but i am sure my navy calf will be better wink.gif

finally got around to getting a pic of my peacoat

Fingers crossed my Peacoat doesn't get creased to shit while shipping like my DR did. Customs sure like to knead my parcels.

just bring it to a cleaner and have them steam it?
or hang it in a steamy shower / bathroom
nothing a good steaming session cannot fix. the natural properties of wool will see the coat looking like new again smile.gif
post #23442 of 30804
Yeah, leather's the one you need to worry about with creasing like that. Wool's much more resilient.

What? the leather uncreases almost immediately with wear - and I've also hung mine in a steamy bathroom, like with woolens.
Sure. It's just easier to crease leather permanently than wool, that's all. Not really sure steaming does the same thing that it does for wool fabric, though.

Who knows. I'm like I child with scissors.
