Question is it made out of nylon? if not whats the fabric?

Outer was either Goretex or a similar laminate, as far as I can tell. Very good water resistance and excellent non-crinkly hand. Really nice. Drew, I would buy it in a Mac length coat w a tall collar.

Wasn't aware this was a rare coat but i posted some pics in this thread about a year back.

Original black one with quilted polyfill was in Goretex. Anniversary is in a laminated high denier nylon shell.

Orders closed end of may/beginning of june.

They reopened last week of August and have been open since.

if you read the question,

nepats81 is asking when the current cutoff is and unless you cant order a A2 bomber (in this run), giving him a link regarding a previous cut off is confusing

are you guys thinking of bringing back the chesterfield?

Not sure. Preferably if I brought it back, there's some things I'd like to improve on it; I'd like to make full-floating canvassed coats in pretty high-end wools but that would blow them out of the park price-wise, so I haven't really been rushing to make those. It's just not really possible to make MTM coats or even small batches in that way without them being pricey. Anybody who has spent time in MC will understand where I am coming from number-wise on those.

Will you make some more casual trousers? Something ala stephan schneider, which can be worn with t shirt and sneakers?

how much are we talking about in terms of price?

Wore my trousers out last night.

Fabric is just great. Way more comfortable in a sweaty club than a pair of jeans. Light, breathable and the elastic waist is perfect for drinking a lot of beer biggrin.gif

I seriously pushed for those trousers to have the elastic in them for the purpose of more enjoyable dining/drinking. redface.gif You get to stay laced up looking and a dinner and a couple beers don't have you sitting around the rest of the night in discomfort, they've got just enough give.

I don't know. Pricing is one of those things that comes mostly last. I aim for a range and get it in there. Right now, don't know what the two big cost factors on a canvassed coat of nicer fabric would be, so no definitive answer, not even a range, unfortunately.

Speaking of, I decided that there isn't much else I can show of the shirt that I need to; I put those buttons on the collar to mock the buttondown look and that's how the production shirts are going to look - so if you've seen the pics, you've seen that item. I have the size chart, will get it up later for orders, but those can be reserved now. I am gonna be conservative and say that the baseline lead time applies for now, to pre-empt any questions, but it's its own manufacturing facility having nothing to do with other stuff so the wait should be lesser in reality. For now that, those who want them can shuffle in early.

I have to carry over fabric this week and buy it beforehand to start off, so we'll offer white and light blue in the selvedge oxford for now. $225 shipped as seen, since shirts are light we can take $25 off if you buy both white and blue and we ship them together. If one will need MTM or adjustments we need to consider those separately at a different time as those are their own work lot. The shirts aren't the cheap in the scheme of all things shirts, I know, but they're worth it I feel, on a different echelon. Not for all, but some may be interested, and that's okay with me.
