The anniversary MA-1 fits really small, was like a shrinkwrap on me the first time I wore it. So it should fit your style perfect reedo.

Anyone have rec's on what to use to layer under a leather for warmth during winter, are the uniqlo ultra light down jackets good for this?
I know some people here, Drew included, swear by the uniqlo heattech stuff as a base layer, and that on top of that, they say you just need a normal shirt and the leather and you'll be fine.

I like the idea of wearing ocbds under knits under jackets like Willy does.

Hmm skeptical that's warm enough for an east coast winter but that would be awesome!

It is simply not a real winter jacket...and if you take advantage of the mtm aspect to get it to perfectly fit for your body, you won't have room a ton of extra insulation.

just buy a fishtail for when it gets really cold

A lamb A-2 with enough room for a knit would get you quite far into winter (at least at NYC temps)

Yep, and if you throw on a heattech LS crewneck under that you might burst into flames

+1
I live in Chicago and last year my 2010 bomber + a medium-thick SNS or NDG knit was good enough for 90% of the winter... I only needed to pull out the TOJ fishtail maybe 10 days out of the whole winter.

Can't speak for the lamb or goat, but calf does a good-ass job. I've worn what I described, plus a scarf, hat, gloves, in 20-30 Fahrenheit weather.

Is it too late to order a A2 bomber?  I saw some posts about a cutoff coming on the website, but no confirmation that the cutoff actually happened.  THanks

Outer was either Goretex or a similar laminate, as far as I can tell. Very good water resistance and excellent non-crinkly hand. Really nice. Drew, I would buy it in a Mac length coat w a tall collar.

Wasn't aware this was a rare coat but i posted some pics in this thread about a year back.
