Maybe, maybe not. I ordered an MDR on the cut off, and it still hasn't shipped. Going on 18 weeks.

The shirt looks phenomenal...Still thinking that we will be allowed to tweak sleeve length? I am 6'4 and 190 lbs so think the slimness will be perfect, but concerned about sleeve length.

we got another sewer in that rider/coat workshop. It might speed things up a little, but not warpspeed. redface.gif The cutoff orders should be done imminently. We had a week of interruption last week with production and shipping but back on the job.

Also....can we see a shot from the side to check out the hem line?

Will do on the hem line.

Kind of.... hesitant to do patterns again. We offered a ton last time when TOJ was more about offering choices and options - but now I like to stick to more presets. It reins in all the QC aspects and keeps people form going too crazy with the options. Also, I've started disliking all the patterned shirts out there, there is already a bit of dischord with the leather jackets and then the buttonup shirts. Don't want to split that even further. The leather jackets have this virile, confident image and then a patterned cotton sportshirt says 'Costanza' or 'Stanley Van Buren' redface.gif

I had been interested in making like, a solid white minimalist dress shirt at the same level as this oxford, though. Hidden placket and fine detailing. It too was going to serve as a oneShirt for those guys who don't necessarily need one everyday and are shirt freaks, just once in awhile. My opinion is that you can have quality pieces without nerding out and breaking the bank to make a whole collection to show the internet you're legit - you can do the same thing with one item.

Any chance of more casual pants than the current trousers?

yes, been thinking on it. Want to make a wider-leg easy trouser with the same elastic waist. I also still want to make my jeans but haven't been looking forward to getting down to Okayama so I've been waiting til somebody basically makes me. It's like $500 to go down there and takes hours, pretty much anyway you slice it. It'd be like $500 rt on the bullet train from Tokyo, almost $500 if I rode the local trains for hours upon hours, maybe $500 if I rented a little kei car and drove the whole way from Tokyo through Nagoya/Kyoto/Osaka/Kobe and through to Okayama (would take me more than day, maybe two at my pace) -or I could fly for $500 rt from Seoul to Okayama. Asia is a funny little place. Japan is as wide as like, New Jersey but it costs a fortune to get around.

The oxford fabric in that shirt has a lot of character. Am a fan of irregular / loose weaves and mottled colors in rustic fabrics like tweed, denim, oxford, etc.

Definitely make this. Sounds amazing.

are harringtons made by the same people that make riders?

Wish I had the money for a harrington right now. Need to sell wardrobe, acquire jawnz. I only wear a small subset of what I own anyways. What color did you go with smash? It's lamb suede, right? Is that the same as the chest patch on the A2/CWU?
