Did you try the Mr Clean Magic Eraser? Its not a rubber eraser, it's a quite powerful melamine foam sponge. If you do try it, I would definitely test it out on a non visible part of the jacket because there's a risk that it could remove some color.

i guess i must really be in the minority here. i mean, ive found several silver marks/nicks on my jacket when it arrived, didn't think anything of it, but my wife did notice.
really not trying to make light of it. just didn't think it looked bad. i just thought it's like when you closely inspect the brogueing on your $700 shell cordovan boots and see that they missed a hole and get upset b/c the boots are "ruined", ya know. plus he didn't say it was all over his jacket, i dont think they would ship the jacket if it was.

while some people certainly go overboard with this kind of stuff, if i'm shelling out several bills for nice clothing - whether i'm buying boots or a leather jacket - i expect nothing less than a top-notch product

I'm surprised that there's been no speculation whatsoever about the "Transformer jacket" among posters in the thread - c'mon guys.
Also, I'd love to see a TOJ flannel shirt, it's something that's very possible to produce and within the means of the brand. Are we simply far beyond something simple like that at this phase?

They use a silver pen to mark up the jacket. A damp cloth and elbow grease will get rid of all the silver marks.

Yes that's what I used. Normally the stuff will even take paint off the walls but nothing here. The silver marking stuff came off with just a damp cloth.
