When I made the order I used wj4's pic for the color ref. I think the hide they used for mine is darker because theres no orange tint at all even in sunlight but it looks really nice. The leather is waxier and smoother than what I had expected, it looks like a dark cordovan color. It probably looks black on some monitors but yeah its actually just very dark brown with a hint of purple. I'll take a pic of it later next to shell cordovan so you guys can see the diff.

EDIT: here you go smile.gif, btw does anybody know where I can get the same type of snaps they use on these jackets? I wanna add another one on each cuff

Oh, man. You should've sent me a PM! I would've taken better pictures for you under different lighting conditions. It looks like cordovan #8 indeed, quite darker than my burgundy. Great looking jacket and great fitting as well. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

+1 fit looks pretty good on all the recent bball pics... definitely better than the 1st run, whether its due to tweaks in the pattern and/or people doing a better job of figuring out their correct size.

Was length adjustable? I thought it wasn't and didn't ask further.

I thought (for the bball) the lengths were the only things you could adjust... (though I left mine as-is)

Are peeps still offering suggestions for the next go-round?

Suggestion: extra fabric so that jackets can be let-out, if needed. I know the slim, slim cut is essential to the ToJ aesthetic, but a little emergency exit in case of working out (or eating out) would appear to save the growing, the worked out, the fatties, a lot of anguish.

After taking some fit pictures for B&S I'm having second thoughts. Should I keep or sell? It's tight in the shoulders and chest. Zipping it up all the way is pretty tight on me. It's also tighter with the leather side exposed than with the cloth side.

Post of a pic of it full zipper and arms in a natural position if possible. Also, check noobizor's trade thread if you don't necessarily want to sell outright.

Wow, time just blew right by! I ordered a BBall the day before the deadline and a CWU a week prior. Still haven't gotten tracking, oh well.

Break in process.  Applied 2 coats of Obenauf's Leather Oil.  Jacket drank it up.

Decided to mold the collar.

no sun, cloudy day.  shininess is due to the fresh coat.
