Not tring to cause shit in the thread - but I'm a 28" waist too and buying jeans is a nightmare. The majority of 28" Jeans I have tried either fit like a 30" waist from the start, or stretch to a 30" waist after a few wears. APC are the best I have tried, but I am planning to try a few dior pairs soon. Other than those nothing has worked for me, so I agree with nineohtoo that more options would be nice.

Regarding the jacket in my signature. I'm 5'10'' and the lenght is perfectly fine for me. You can test it by wearing a regular crew neck tee, and then see how far down 24'' will go from the neck of that tee. It all depends on how long your upper body is.

EDIT: And regarding the idea that a wish for a Drew Keith 5-zip would merely be to get a 5zip for cheap:

No, that's not why I, at least, would like to see it done. I would LOVE to see Drew's own iteration of that exact jacket he (seems to) hold so dear. I mean, if anyone knows what's flattering and not-so-flattering about that exact pattern, and how it could be given that timeless twist of toj, it would be him. And, this might be out of ignorance on my part of course, I perceive the 5zip as a fundamental leather jacket cut on par with the DR, Cafe Moto and Bomber. Eventhough I realize it doesn't have the same history. Anyway..

I would be happy to pay 1000+ bucks for toj 5zip, if the cost demanded such a price.

that's pretty damn good picture quality for a prepaid phone... uhoh.gif Modern times indeed.

Haha, I literally went for the cheapest phone I could find in the store. It was like 2000 yen or something, but the pictures still turn out better than ones taken by my (admittedly old) iphone. Technology ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

is that an old style moto? thought they all had banded hems and stuff now. looks awesome.

Nah, it has a banded hem, but it isn't very prominent and doesn't show up well in that picture. I was toying with the idea of asking for no banded hemline but I didn't really like how it looked on the other cream moto posted a while back.

I think I like keeping the top two unbuttoned.

It's come up a few times and been bounced around, but actually-existing ToJ shearling remains my white whale. frown.gif

Just got in the BBall...

In short, it is AMAZING. Pictures can't do it justice. I received the package from the post office to find it lighter and thinner than my other TOJs. After unwrapping it, I quickly noticed how vibrant and beautiful the ribbing is in person and then how soft and thin (but durable) the suede is. This is the perfect spring/summer casual outer piece. I love it, I'm wearing it in 85F with a tee and I feel fine temperature wise. It wraps around you like a suede cocoon. So amazingly badass.
