How about an M-1951 shell parka (or N-1) in nylon oxford or denier nylon?

best parka m51

best field jacket m43

m65 isn't as nice

I would believe that offering items that match those MC casual but done right (i.e. not MC casual) could yield some success. So maybe some nice slacks, refined suede jackets like you'd like to see from a brand like Zegna if it didn't suck, maybe some cool belts could possibly work. I am not sure it would allow for non web expension as many would be looking for the made in Italy romance. Basically a more rugged, les lame, Bruno Cucinelli for late 20s-early 30s dude with some disposable income and an interest in style but no possibility of wearing pink ponchos to work.

Black calfskin DR 2010 came in the mail today! Fit, quality, etc, all are really good (as was expected). My only regret is not having purchased one earlier! Looking forward to Autumn so I can wear the hell outta it.

Smashwindow, wouldn't your rather wear an F2 than an M43 field coat if you want a lapel collar? APC has made some nice ones over the years that are still easily attainable second hand, even in my size.

Drew, I take the comment about taking a pair of APCs to a manufacturer as a no on denim? I figured you'd be interested, because options are really limited for skinny people like us frown.gif Also, please bring back shirts, maybe with interesting fabrics you find in Japan. I just got my overdyed black oxford and sort of wish I ordered another overdyed black one and another black chambray for my "uniform".

Looks good, but would look much better with a longer tee, man.

F2 button stance is too high for my taste. Where are you seeing the apc jackets? ebay?

Definitely needs a longer tee. Also, this may just be the angle of the camera, but your proportions look kinda weird. Are your pants just being worn super high?

I'm sure I won't describe this right - pictures would help, but I leave the country tomorrow so one fairly useless one will have to do. Basically, I'd kill for some affordable (like, $5-700) formalish trench like wool outerwear - basically like the stuff CCP does (or, in a more casual iteration, some of ma+'s long coat offerings). I'm not even entirely sure what it's called, but it seems like it fits into the vein of TOJ's previous offerings (i.e., even though the example I used is CCP, it's much less blatantly artisanal craziness than something like the high collar leathers (disregarding bizarre stitching and jointing)).

What about these?

If you have something specific in mind just e-mail them and they can probably accommodate you. They're a forum affiliate and the owner seems very open to making custom pieces.
