Black Satin Trenchcoat, Lab Coat, M65 Field Jacket
Definitely in need of a slim-fitting trench. Raglan sleeves, shoulder straps, gun flap, etc. - basically the works. (I think the raglan sleeves on the TOJ1 are amazing) Strong, dense, black calf leather collar backing - shape to your liking/styling, and it'll stay that way. Horn buttons. Cotton satin fabric.

You've already expressed a desire to create a lab coat for spring. satisfied.gif Black satin sounds nice for this.

I wasn't on the wagon with people who wanted an M65 in the past, because I wasn't sure if a good looking M65 could be made. Nineohtoo's recent fit with the undercover m65 is pretty awesome. I think that you could make a better M65 in black satin fabric, heavy duty zips, etc.

I think Drew just needs to come out with a William Gibson collection of his own. Blacked out militia and workwear inspired shit in modern fits with OCD otaku level detailing.

MA-1s in different thicknesses/liners. I think the design and cut on the original TOJ1/MA-1 was near perfect if you sized size up. The shoulders squared off perfectly then went to arms that stacked just right, while the body wasn't overly slim and still kept the bomber shape. Flap pockets, webbed arm zip(almost every designer one I've seen uses the same outer fabric at the zip), and the brass zips just set it off. I felt it was only missing a full length placket, which I'm sure you would have added if it wasn't for the varsity side. I would have liked mine quilted like the original one(not as nice as the TOJ1 version imo) since it's more often cold than warm here, but I think heat tech and layers will take care of that in the winter.

M-65(thanks omgcookielol). The UC watch viewer one(the imperial one is still kinda boxy and arms aren't darted) proves you can do this slim and classic without looking like some cheap hedi knock off. I posted that suede one from a while back, which is kinda cool, but a straight up repro one would probably be just as dope. Lined or filled like the surplus M-65 that I used to wear in high school with classic unretroed Nikes/Jordans pre hypebeast era icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

N3-B. Drew already said he can't make one of these though. But the M-51 Fishtail you put out is probably one of the coolest coats I've ever seen. I'd like it to have been slimmer, but the fact that the shoulders and arms stop at the right places at least doesn't make it look like a hand me down. I'm sure you can do the N3-B the same treatment.

yep, exactly what i was thinking. not saying to rip the hoodcoat design from bless but something like this would become my staple outerwear, easily

Obviously I want to see a TOJ blacked out MA-1

Also I've lately been on the hunt for a good example of the mother of all field jackets the M-1943 I'm finding that the sizing is all sorts of fucked up if drew could black it out or maybe sell a navy version icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I got my TOJ1 2011 varsity in the navy/white colorway recently from a seller here. It's amazing, but it's been so hot here recently, I've not been able to wear it. Anybody else dealing with this?

I wear suits to work every day but have never bought a trench coat/Mac style as I find them all a little too Bogart-Like or otherwise costumey. Would love to see a sleek, slim fitting trench for warmer weather.

I live in Texas which means about 2 months a year for even modest amounts of outerware. So no, I'm not dealing with that right now.

I would still absolutely love to do the TOJ x Hoth winter collection.

I would also love to see a non-traditional trench with say satin-like material and zippers - more like recent Dries than Burberry.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Not really like this (don't like the rib collar for one thing) but similar direction

Got tracking number late July 5th/Early July 6th, getting a "not found at this time" message when trying to search. Anyone else get this? Do I try again in another day? It's only an issue because there are two addresses it may have been sent to.

The cheserfield's too much of a car-coat for me, I think.

Yes. My dream jacket is still a ToJ Irvin.

I need this. Please.

Also, black/midnight chesterfield/topcoat with sharper, redesigned lapels with black lamb facing.

I hope for something like this http://toj-gallery.com/main.php?g2_itemId=1521

and some waist length wool coat for winter, I have no idea what it should look like though. waist length because I think full length would no look right for a student carrying a backpack all day

hahah this guy is slaying ladies with that glare, i would definitely like to see TOJ take a stab at this, or at least selling a contrast collar for my A2 that color. B3 is a bold statement for sure, done right it is downright badass ...but done wrong...

MA-1, always

i'd like a fishtail or mountain parka too

I think the mixed-materials stuff is too cool. How about a rough, collared, mid-weight silk/cotton/suede paneled jacket? Cut boxy, like the t1. Maybe 4 flap pockets, suede body, silk and cotton sleeves? Not the lanvin exposed seams shit, but everything buckled down and sewed up tight, with leather chest pocket details. Leather-backed collar, silk/cotton on the top. all in ivory suede with petroleum silk sleeves. I can picture it in my head, but I'm having problems describing it. I don't really like motorcycle-style jackets that aren't in leather, so not that at all.

Is George Lucas' jacket leather?
Would love to see a TOJ interpretation of it.
