Oh man, been caught up with Diablo 3 so much, I almost forgot about ordering. It's almost the 1st! Yikes.

Yeah I'm just fooling around (mostly). My jacket's already done I suspect, supposed to get a tracking number sometime this week.

it really is a shame that silver zips don't come in 2 way for the motorcycle jackets...

Is it meant to have two different pull styles? confused.gif

dont have a heart attack candrew

i ride a motorcycle, its practical. and I like the aesthetics as well. and its like, wtf, I can always zip it down and its effectively the same as before...

i hate responses like this. and of course candrew feels he has sanctuary in saying this because Drew himself has lately been espousing a single zip. my theory is that it is purely a business thing, not aesthetic, because many people still like the two ways on the motorcycle jackets. and these YKK two ways are in no way harder to zip up, they're like butter. that or they don't make silver two ways

look at all of the TOJ promotional pictures, they take advantage of the dual zip for that nonchalant swag

yeah, two way YKK's have different pull tabs as far as I know.

You ride a motorcycle wearing an unarmored lamb fashion jacket?

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:

My impression of 2-way zips was that you would let out room in the waist if it was too tight. The ribbed hem on the A-2 serves a similar function. Having both and applying both seems redundant and, in my opinion, looks dumb because it's so superfluous. The jacket now looks like something from Zara where you have 2-way zips for the hell of it rather than for function and it looks like fast-food fashion.

The DR does not suffer from this since the 2-way zip has a function considering that there is not ribbed hem, nor should there be. Also, you're wearing a flight jacket for riding a motorcycle?

this jacket was made less than perfect in terms of measurements so the additional modularity will help me achieve the look I want. im going to leave it at that.

yes, I use a fucking flight jacket to ride my fucking motorcycle. god this place is driving me nuts.

You must be better than me, I'm afraid to fall in my jacket and scar it up =)

Whoa, I just realized I'm concerned more for my jacket than for my own health

Aether I'm with you buddy, i use my VTG MDR as a motorcycle jacket. It's amazing!
As the weather around here has been patchy at best i haven't had an opportunity to take some good pics of the development of my VTG jacket. So in lieu of that here are some crappy Android pics i took this afternoon at work. Hope this will do...

Man, I love this fit but you'd think the dude could go through the hassle of fully buttoning his diors if he was gonna get his picture taken...
