Geez this thread is massive. I finally am deciding to take the plunge, like many others, on a ToJ piece with the news of the break. Anyway, I looked everywhere on the site and couldn't find the info - what form of payment does ToJ take? Gotta build up that paypal balance...
yeah, goat is a bit more. Suede in an Islander size scares me, lol - those lambskins are just so small. Every size up means we have to slough off a color choice, I have no idea what the color choices are in sz 54+ as it's the sleeve length on those hides that kills. They've usually no more than 22"-23" across the longest part.
Cool thanks, it was just a thought. You didn't have the goat leather last time we talked, and I didn't really want another lamb bomber (I have the CWU in black lamb) so maybe I'll get a brown goat A-2 unless you can talk me into something else. Maybe leave the suede patch off to set it apart from the CWU a bit. Definitely going to do one (or two) more MTM before that goes away. I kind of chickened out on doing the VTG CM but now I'm back to looking at it again...
First leather, a CM in dark whiskey. The sleeves/arm pit were fairly tight straight outta the package. I had some initial bruising on the inside of my elbow and my arms would get numb from the pinching at the top. Those issues are long gone after a couple weeks of wear, and it continues to feel better by the day. I love it and think it fits great now. I am too clueless to know how a perfect jacket looks/feels, so would be grateful for any feedback so I can hurry up and get another order together before the deadline. I'm thinking CWU in black lamb--want something in black lamb--but am open to suggestions. Want a bball too, and maybe a 2nd leather.
Still have to mold the collar. Does that require a complete soak or just a little dip? Thanks for any help.
How much of a difference could that possibly make? If you know you want something don't wait until the last possible minute.
Also for your Dior jeans wtb in sig, there was a post with them in sales thread last night.
Some people get paid on the first of each month. A cut off date before payday could mean that people wont have access to the disposable income they need to make a final order until the first of the month (or second if they need a day for the check/transfer to process).
