AFAIK, it's optional on the A-2, but not optional on the CWU

I really hope that you will still have some louder colors available. Pretty much everyone around here who wears a leather jacket has a black one so I don't want one (got a black non-TOJ moto that I like). I also hope you will cater to those of us who fit well into stock sizes but have ridiculously long arms.

Sounds like I'll be able to squeeze in two more TOJ purchases by the cut-off. satisfied.gif

That's why I ordered navy. Different enough, versatile, but not loud.

Guess I ordered around the right time if lead times might be even a bit shorter now.

ToJ1 2011 ordered on April 18th.

Ribbed collar CWU (in red black biggrin.gif) ordered just the other night.

I honestly wonder if anyone else in my state even owns a ToJ.

Regarding the discontinuing of the old line: should we expect some similar cuts to come out, or jackets which look very much like the current ones, or is it a larger overhaul? Especially with the more classic stuff/popular jackets. If I'm interested in the 2011 MDR in medium grey, should I hurry up and get the cash to order it, or will there likely be an analogue in the new collection? Thanks smile.gif

What style did you order?

This news about speeding up on orders is getting me thinking my 2010 dr could show up in time for my birthday on the 18th. Won't get my hopes up but would be swell, I'm only on week 5.

Someone order a red or blue 4 zip moto before the cut off. It would be like the boiled wool CdG rider jackets but so much better.

I assume the bball will be orderable until the cutoff date then?

VTG CM or A-2 in Goat or Lamb/Black or Brown.

Uniqueness v. Versatility/comfort?

Drew, since you guys are doing the cut off in a month, would you be open to accepting orders again on the discontinued quilted bcdr? I've wanted one ever since I knew it existed, and I figure this might just be the last chance to ask. shog[1].gif A black lamb quilted bcdr and black cwu-45 would be my ideal weekly uniform.

A2 in brown goat out of those combos, hands down. Absolutely solid. Second would be A2 in brown lamb. Forget the VTG makeup for non veg tan leather.

I am not sure I want to bring that one back. The guy who makes these jackets never fully understood what I wanted to do with that jacket and made it about 85% my way and 15% his way, and I don't like his way on that piece. We have done so well together on pretty much all of the things we've made without that kind of differential, and we just made more prototypes if I didn't like something. On that BCDR though, I wanted to do something different with the quilt detailing but he couldn't get his mind around it... I forget sometimes, because the guy is really talented, or perhaps I should say really skilled at what he does and he's earned it with time, but he's not a rocket scientist either; we have our moments where perfection seems further away than it should be....
