The new official TOJ thread, 2011 - Page 1254

Just checking to see if any more experienced Toj heads, could advise me, have a toj2011 48/46 lengths, the length is perfect, getting a A2 should I get length added, since it seems shorter? I don't wanna email drew yet, won't have the cash for a week or so

I read back through the thread, earlier drew was talking about how you wear your jeans, has an impact on length, I tend to wear my jeans low, and looking at some of the pics on the gallery, I see some with the length I want other's I find too short.

Measure your body. Charly will size your jacket.

Don't forget to send Charly nudes.

Note that the shoulder measurement is just an approximation since there are no hard shoulder points on a raglan sleeve. If you're +/- 1" of the listed shoulder, you should be fine. So don't fret too much about the shoulders. Make sure the other measurements line up for you as well.

Also note that there is a touch of length added to the body and sleeves from the previous model.

you have to consider other dimensions like texture and depth, not just colors. That jacket in olive leather would be really ugly IMO.

Anyways, please make final call bball after recollection is available.

It probably would, but it would cost a lot more if it gets made in a different material, so we haven't offered that.

tan suede bball, like the black lamb DR, are just perfect and will always be. Timeless style not fashion james dean.

That sounds reasonable, thanks

This new goatskin still so soft that the zips could easily scratch the leather? I recall someone saying the new goat was a bit tougher than lamb.

Also, mocked this up from one of Aeglus' photos to help envision the black:

that's pretty much how the black goatskin looks, good job. THe dark brown is almost black but displays tinges of brown in the right light, and will probably fade to brown over time.

(btw, nobody ask us about making 'the aeglus bomber' again, don't want make any more of those)

Not sure if I missed it with all the CWU talk, but what are your thoughts on goat vs lamb for the the A2 Drew?

Challly you still got my measurements? I leave it up to you to establish the correct adjustments since my A-1 is spot on. I'm guessing 52 would be the correct base size.

Was there confusion about how it was supposed to be made or just a mistake?
